Ticonderoga 33904 #2 HB Wood-Cased Pencils, Yellow, 72-Count

When you need a few dependable pencils for everyday notes, a compact supply may be enough, when schoolwork or shared desks call for frequent writing, a 72-count pack keeps more pencils on hand. These yellow Ticonderoga wood-cased pencils are made for writing, drawing, schoolwork, classroom use, and office tasks.

Their #2 HB graphite core is designed for smooth writing and broad, consistent lines. The familiar yellow finish and attached eraser make them practical for work that may need edits along the way.

Choose this pack for routine pencil use across home, school, or work. The wood casing is designed for even sharpening, and the latex-free eraser is secured with a green-and-gold ferrule.

How it fits

For a student working through written assignments, a pencil that can both make clear graphite marks and erase them is useful from one task to the next. The #2 HB lead suits general writing and drawing, while the 72-count quantity works well for stocking a classroom, keeping a shared supply area ready, or organizing a home study space. If you’re choosing between a small personal supply and a larger pack for repeated or shared use, this format is geared toward having pencils available across many work sessions.

The pencils are described as PMA-certified non-toxic, with an age range listed for kids, teens, and adults. That makes them relevant to a range of school and everyday writing needs. In a practical classroom routine, they can be used for written exercises and sketches, then the attached eraser helps tidy up changes without reaching for a separate eraser.

What you’ll notice day to day

The thick graphite core is formulated for a smooth feel and broad, consistent marks. A sharpened pencil is ready for writing, diagrams, or drawing, and the wood casing is designed to sharpen evenly with minimal breakage. The yellow lacquered finish gives the pencils their recognizable look, while the latex-free eraser provides an on-pencil way to remove marks.

Buyer feedback often highlights smooth writing and clean erasing, including for school use. Experiences with sharpening and durability are mixed, so these impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee. The documented features that support everyday use are the HB graphite, wood casing, and attached eraser.
