LiberNovo Omni SE Ergonomic Office Chair, Manual Lumbar, 5 Recline Positions

For adults who spend long stretches at a desk, the LiberNovo Omni SE combines adjustable lumbar support with a backrest, seat, headrest, and armrests designed to move with you. Need a chair that can shift between focused work and a more relaxed position? Its five recline settings make that change part of the chair’s setup. The Obsidian finish and upholstered foam seat suit an indoor office or home workspace.

What to know

The Omni SE uses a Bionic FlexFit backrest with manual lumbar adjustment, so you can position the lower-back support to suit your sitting posture. Its Dynamic Support System coordinates the headrest, backrest, seat, and armrests as you move, lean, or recline. Differential tilt between the headrest and backrest is designed to keep your gaze steady as the chair changes angle, while sliding armrests adjust up to 100 mm for a more tailored resting position.

Choose from five recline positions between 105° and 160°: the range accommodates an upright working posture as well as a deeper recline for a break. A multi-density foam cushion provides zoned support, and the chair’s foam materials include high-density resilient foam and hydrophilic sponge memory foam. The frame uses aerospace-grade panels. The chair measures 31.2 inches deep by 30.1 inches wide by 50 inches high, and the maximum recommended weight is 136 kg.

Buyers often praise the chair’s adjustability and reclining function. Feedback on lumbar support and cushioning is mixed, and assembly experiences vary, so individual impressions differ. The chair’s manual adjustment and multiple recline settings are useful features to consider when choosing a desk chair for changing positions throughout the day.

Who it’s for

This chair is designed for adults who want more than a fixed upright sitting position at their desk. The movable support system and five recline settings offer a way to transition from desk work to a more relaxed posture without switching chairs. Compared with a basic fixed-angle office chair, the Omni SE puts more emphasis on movement and recline, that approach is especially relevant if you like to change your position while working or taking a break.

How to use it

Start with the chair upright and use the manual lumbar adjustment to set the back support where it feels appropriate for your seated posture. Adjust the sliding armrests to support your arms, then choose a recline position suited to the task: a more upright angle for focused desk work or a deeper setting for relaxing. For example, after a work session, you can lean back into one of the recline positions rather than staying in the same upright posture. The chair is intended for indoor use and is supplied with an assembly guide, chair parts, and a hardware kit.
