Where it shines
This controller brings several familiar PS4 controls together in a wireless format, with the touchpad and motion control adding options beyond standard buttons and sticks. The Share button supports video streaming and sharing, while the headphone jack makes it easy to connect a headset directly to the controller. If you’re choosing between a basic wired gamepad and a controller with more PS4-specific controls, what features matter most during your usual play? Here, the touchpad, motion input and headset connection are the practical differentiators.
Buyer feedback is positive about the controller’s overall feel, but experiences with reliability and connectivity vary. Some buyers say it pairs readily with PS4 and works well for everyday gaming, others report disconnections during play. Several also mention problems with the headphone jack over time, a useful consideration if you expect to use a wired headset frequently.
For a gaming session, connect the controller to your PS4, charge it with the cable, and use the analog sticks and triggers for in-game control. The ergonomic shape and familiar layout make it a straightforward fit for players who want a PS4-style controller, while USB connectivity offers a cable-based option when preferred. Compared with choosing a simpler gamepad, this model adds a touchpad, six-axis motion control and a headset jack in one controller.
Is it worth it?
It suits you if you want a wireless controller for PS4, Slim or Pro with a familiar dual-stick layout plus a touchpad, motion control and a 3.5 mm audio connection. Its Windows PC support also makes it relevant for players who use a compatible receiver-based setup. Choose it for those specific controls and the flexibility of Bluetooth or USB, especially when a charging cable and direct headset connection are useful parts of your gaming setup.
