Hyperkin Hyper Click M07208 Retro-Style Mouse for Super NES, Gray and Purple
Product description
Finished in matte gray and purple, the Hyperkin Hyper Click brings a classic SNES-inspired look to compatible Super NES games. Its two-button layout and ergonomic shape provide mouse-style control for creative play and in-game navigation.
Designed with Mario Paint in mind, it connects to a Super NES console for plug-and-play use, so you can get straight to drawing or playing compatible titles.
How it fits
The Hyper Click is made for Super NES gaming, with Mario Paint as a natural fit for its pointer-based controls. Use it to navigate menus, work on drawings, or interact with other compatible SNES titles. In a practical setup, connect the mouse to the console and use its two buttons alongside the cursor for creative tasks and game actions.
Its right-hand orientation and ergonomic shape give the mouse a familiar desktop-style feel. The corded design keeps it connected during play, while the gray-and-purple color scheme pairs naturally with the look of classic SNES hardware. If you are choosing between a standard controller and a mouse-style peripheral, the Hyper Click offers a more direct way to handle games that use pointer movement, especially drawing-focused play.
Why it makes sense
Mario Paint is the standout use, but the Hyper Click is also described as compatible with other SNES titles. Smooth cursor movement is intended to make drawing and navigation feel more controlled, while the two-button layout supports actions beyond simply moving the pointer. Its retro styling suits a classic console setup without giving up the familiar shape of a computer mouse.
Buyer feedback often highlights its use with Mario Paint, and some customers appreciate the sensitivity options. Views on responsiveness and size are mixed: some describe a good response, while others report lag in music composition mode or find the mouse large for their hands. Some also describe a snug fit in the controller port, so take care when connecting it to the console.
