Sunoony Portable CD Player with 2000 mAh Battery
Product description
Key specifications
The built-in 2000 mAh rechargeable battery is the standout practical feature: it’s rated for up to 9 hours of playback, so you can take a stack of CDs on a drive or trip without relying on a wall outlet the whole time. The player supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 discs, and USB flash drive playback, with a backlit LCD for dim rooms and nighttime listening.
It also has stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and anti-skip protection.
Bluetooth works in two distinct ways. In CD or USB mode, the player can transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, in Bluetooth mode, it can receive audio from a phone, tablet, or laptop. For a car stereo, use the FM transmitter or the supplied AUX cable instead. It does not send audio to a car over Bluetooth, and its USB port does not provide audio output to a vehicle. The listed anti-skip protection is up to 60 seconds for CDs and 120 seconds for MP3s, which may help during movement but isn’t a promise of uninterrupted playback on every rough road.
Who it’s for
This makes sense for someone who still listens to CDs and wants more than a desk-only player. Picture a passenger using the FM transmitter to tune a car radio to the player, or someone listening to an audiobook through headphones while following the track on the display. The repeat and program functions also suit language practice or replaying a particular passage. At home, the built-in speakers let you listen without wearing headphones, while the sleep timer can shut the player off after a set interval from 10 to 90 minutes.
A solid pick if you want physical-disc playback alongside basic USB and wireless options. Without having tried it, the main buying distinction is still clear: this is a CD player with several ways to listen, not a dedicated wireless car-audio adapter. It might not be a great match if your setup depends on a direct Bluetooth connection between the player and your car stereo.
What’s included
The product information lists headphones, a Type-C-to-USB charging cable, and an AUX cable. That gives you a wired listening option and a way to connect to a car’s AUX input, while the FM transmitter offers another route when AUX isn’t the connection you plan to use. Check that your intended listening setup matches one of those options, the USB port is for flash-drive playback, not sending audio to a vehicle.
Practical doubts
Can it play music from a phone? Yes. In Bluetooth receiving mode, it can take audio from a phone, tablet, or laptop. Bluetooth transmission from CD or USB playback is a separate mode.
Can I connect it to my car by Bluetooth? No. The product description says it cannot transmit Bluetooth audio to a car stereo. Use its FM transmitter or the supplied AUX cable instead.
How long can it play between charges? It’s rated for up to 9 hours of playback, with a stated charging time of 4 hours. Actual listening time may vary, and the description does not specify conditions for those figures.
Final verdict
Choose this Sunoony if keeping a CD collection in use matters more than having a simple, direct wireless connection to every device. Its built-in speakers, headphones, FM transmitter, and AUX option cover several everyday listening situations, while the battery and anti-skip features are useful for taking it out of the house. Skip it if your must-have is Bluetooth audio straight to a car stereo, or if you need USB audio output to a vehicle, neither is supported.
