The ASP anti-skip system is designed to help reduce playback interruptions from vibration, which is useful when listening on the move. For car playback, connect through AUX, the car stereo needs to support an AUX connection. At home, the 3.5 mm jack provides a direct connection for headphones, while the AUX cable offers another way to connect to compatible audio equipment.

Choose tracks in a preferred order with programmable playback, or use the repeat and random modes to change how a disc plays. The LCD makes it easier to follow playback, and the sound-effect options let you select among several listening profiles. When powered off with the Power button, the player resumes from the point where playback was paused.

Power it from a USB-C source using the included cable for stationary listening. The USB-C connection supplies power directly and does not charge an internal battery. For listening without a cable to a power source, use 2 AA batteries. Buyers often appreciate the player’s portability and ease of use, while reports about operation and anti-skip performance are mixed. The ASP system is a practical feature for mobile listening, but individual experiences vary.
