SUNFURA 1308-650BQ-Purple-L Soft Dog Recovery Cone, Purple Fabric

Technical overview

Made from breathable mesh fabric, the SUNFURA 1308-650BQ-Purple-L is a soft recovery collar in Purple L. Its fabric construction offers a different approach from a rigid plastic cone, while the adjustable fit helps position the collar around your dog’s neck. Choose a soft collar for a fabric feel during recovery, or a rigid cone when that style better suits your care plan.

• Size: Purple L
• Material: Fabric mesh
• Neck size: 17.3 inches
• Closure: Hook and loop, with an adjustable drawstring
• Recommended use: Help prevent licking or biting wounds and incisions
• Quantity: 1

The hook-and-loop closure makes the collar straightforward to put on and remove, and the built-in drawstring lets you tighten or loosen the fit. Before choosing this size, compare your dog’s neck measurement and head length with the collar’s fit: the dog’s head should not be longer than the product’s depth. This helps you select a collar suited to your dog’s proportions.

Buyers describe the soft fabric as comfortable for resting and appreciate the secure-feeling closure and ease of putting it on and taking it off. Some say the size fits as expected, while others find it too large, so checking your dog’s measurements is especially useful when selecting Purple L.

Best use cases

This collar is intended for dogs recovering from surgery or dealing with wounds or skin issues where licking or biting the affected area needs to be discouraged. For example, during recovery at home, the collar can help create a barrier between your dog’s mouth and an incision while they rest or move around. Its soft fabric construction may suit owners looking for a fabric alternative to a traditional hard plastic cone.

The adjustable drawstring and hook-and-loop closure support a more tailored fit than a fixed-size collar. The product is listed for large dogs, and the stated neck size is 17.3 inches, use your dog’s measurements and the product depth as the practical fit checks. Buyers also mention comfort during sleep and ease of use, though fit opinions vary.
