Summsun D-Shape Outdoor Chair Cushions, 17 x 16-Inch Teal Set of 2

At 17 x 16 inches and 2 inches thick, these teal D-shaped cushions are sized for outdoor chair seats with a curved front edge. The set includes two cushions, each filled with high-resilience foam.

A polyester cover and two ties on each cushion are intended for patio seating, including garden chairs, porch seats, wicker furniture, and bistro sets. Measure your chair’s seat before ordering, the listed dimensions and shape are more useful fit guides than a general “most chairs” claim.

The removable covers are machine washable, so the cushions offer a different approach from fixed upholstery that cannot be taken off for cleaning. Their water- and weather-resistant fabric is intended for outdoor use, but the product information does not establish protection in every kind of weather.

Benefits

The D shape is the main practical distinction here. It may suit a chair with a rounded or curved seat better than a standard square pad, while the 17 x 16-inch footprint gives you a clear point of comparison with your existing cushions. The two ties help secure each pad to the chair, and the set format refreshes two seats at once without replacing the furniture.

The 2-inch thickness and firm foam fill provide cushioning for everyday patio sitting. The polyester cover is described as fade-resistant and stain-resistant, and the fabric is listed as water- and weather-resistant. Those details make the set relevant for outdoor seating, though they are not a reason to leave cushions exposed in conditions beyond the product’s stated use.

Key takeaways

This is a straightforward replacement set: two teal cushions, a curved D-shaped profile, and dimensions of 17 x 16 x 2 inches. If you are choosing between a basic flat pad and a cushion with ties and a removable cover, this set adds those features while keeping the shape and size specific. It is not a full chair upgrade, and the fit still depends on your furniture’s seat dimensions.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about comfort, appearance, color, fit, and water resistance. Some customers describe the cushions as both soft and firm. Durability feedback is mixed, however: while some buyers report that the cushions hold up, others say the ties broke after only a couple of uses. That variation is worth keeping in mind if the ties will be under frequent strain.

Maintenance

The cover can be removed and machine washed, which is useful for cleaning after regular outdoor use. The product information does not give specific washing settings, so follow the care label rather than assuming a particular cycle or temperature. The manufacturer also says the cushions may arrive compressed and need 1–3 days to expand and regain their shape, gently shaking or fluffing them may help.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you need two teal replacement cushions in this specific D shape and size, and value removable, washable covers for patio seating. A practical use case is refreshing a pair of porch or bistro chairs while keeping the existing furniture. It’s not for you if your chair needs a different footprint or shape, or if you need a cushion without tie attachments. Measure the seats first, and weigh the mixed reports about tie durability against how often the chairs will be moved or used.
