STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair Series 2 PRO 12692(Blue) Walking Stick with Seat

For walking tours, campground paths, or days with long stretches of standing, the STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair Series 2 PRO gives you a walking stick that can also become a seat for a short rest.

Its five-section folding design adjusts from 33.5 to 36.6 inches and folds to 33.5 inches for carrying and storage. The aluminum construction weighs 1,140 g, while the rubber feet have a spiral pattern for grip and drainage.

Choose this cane-chair format when you want walking support and a place to pause in one item. If your priority is a conventional chair for extended seating, this is designed instead for a brief break while out and about.

Key specifications

The Series 2 PRO combines an adjustable walking stick with a foldable seat. Its quick-lock design supports conversion between walking-stick and chair use, so a rest stop does not require carrying a separate chair. A phone holder is also provided for hands-free use while seated.

The seat height is fixed at 19.6 inches, and the seat is relatively small compared with an ordinary chair. It is intended for short rests after walking or standing rather than as a full-size chair. The product supports up to 300 lb and is listed for users from 5'1" to 6'4". The adjustable stick length is 33.5–36.6 inches, and the folded size is 33.5 inches.

Buyers often highlight its usefulness as both a cane and a portable seat, along with ease of opening and closing. Feedback on weight is mixed, a practical consideration when choosing what to carry on an outing.

Who it’s for

This design suits outdoor enthusiasts and people who want the option to rest during outings, including tours, cruises, and camping trips. It can be useful when a planned route includes periods of walking or standing but seating may not be close at hand. The height range and 300 lb capacity help shoppers assess whether the product’s fit and support specifications match their needs.

Compared with carrying a separate walking stick and chair, the combined format brings both functions together. The tradeoff in use is the compact seat: it provides a place for a short break, rather than the room of an everyday chair.

How to use it

Adjust the stick within its 33.5–36.6-inch range, then use the folding design to set it up as a seat when you need to pause. For seated use, sit in the center of the seat, facing the handle, with your hands on the handle between your legs. This is the intended position for stable use. The rubber feet provide the ground contact, and the phone holder can keep your hands free while you are seated.

Before choosing it, consider whether you can sit down, maintain a stable seated balance, and stand up without assistance. Match the fixed 19.6-inch seat height and listed user-height range to your needs.

Final verdict

The Ta-Da Chair Series 2 PRO is a practical choice for outings where walking support and a ready place to rest are both useful. Its adjustable five-section design, folding format, phone holder, and 300 lb capacity make it suited to short breaks on tours, camping trips, and other days spent on your feet.
