TIDEWE JP-199 Heated Hunting Seat Cushion with Backrest, 3 Heat Levels

Hunters who need warmth and back support during long sits can use the TIDEWE JP-199 as a self-supporting seat for a tree stand, ladder stand, or other outdoor setting. Its heated seat and backrest have separate heating zones, so you can choose among three heat levels for your time outdoors.

The included 10,000 mAh power bank and adjustable support system make it a portable alternative to a basic, unheated seat pad.

• Battery pack: Included 10,000 mAh power bank

The backrest’s reinforced support rods and adjustable side straps help it stand on its own, so it can provide support without a tree or wall to lean against. Thick foam adds cushioning for extended sits, while the quiet brushed fabric is suited to hunting situations where reducing rustling matters. A water-resistant construction helps protect the seat in light rain or snow.

Practical tips

Use the side and rear straps to secure the cushion to a tree stand or ladder stand, or carry it by its straps between locations. The self-supporting design also lets you set it up where there is no surface behind you. Its separate seat and back heating zones give you three heat settings to choose from as conditions and personal preference change.

A simple unheated pad is a more basic approach, the JP-199 adds back support and powered warmth in one portable seat. That combination is useful when you want both cushioning and heat at a hunting stand, campsite, fishing spot, or sporting event. The included battery pack powers the heating, and a side pocket holds the battery during use. Wipe the cushion with a damp cloth for care, it is not machine washable.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the warmth, portability, and usefulness of the seat. Views on battery life are mixed, although some buyers report good performance. The selectable heat levels let you choose a setting for your outing, with the stated run time varying by level.

Usage tips

Set the cushion on your stand or chosen seat and secure it with the straps when needed. Connect the included power bank and select a heat level for the seat and backrest. The manufacturer lists up to 10 hours on low, 5.5 hours on medium, and 3 hours on high with the 10,000 mAh battery pack. These figures help you choose a setting with your planned time outdoors in mind.

For hunting, the quiet fabric and adjustable straps support a stable setup, while the backrest can provide support even without a tree behind you. For camping or fishing, its portable design makes it easy to bring along when you want added warmth and a cushioned place to sit. After outdoor use, wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

What to clarify

Does the backrest need a tree or wall behind it? No. Its self-supporting system is designed to hold the backrest without leaning against a tree or wall.

Do both the seat and backrest heat up? Yes. The cushion has separate heating zones for the seat and back, with three heat levels.

How long does the included battery last? The stated run time is up to 10 hours on low, 5.5 hours on medium, or 3 hours on high with the included 10,000 mAh power bank.
