SSRIVER G400 Artificial Grass Dog Potty Pad, 51.2 x 31.5 Inches

At 51.2 x 31.5 inches, the SSRIVER G400 gives dogs a broad artificial-grass surface for potty training or a designated indoor or outdoor spot. The mat is made of plastic and comes in green.

Drainage holes in the backing let liquids pass through, while the textured surface is designed to resemble grass. That makes it a turf-style alternative to placing a basic pee pad directly on the floor.

One practical detail matters indoors: the product information recommends using a separate tray underneath. The pad itself is not described as including one.

Who it’s for

This reusable grass pad may suit apartment dwellers who want to set up a dog potty area without a yard, as well as households looking for a defined surface on a balcony, patio, or backyard. Its listed dimensions provide more room than a small training pad, which may be useful for a medium or large dog or for puppies using the area together. The size is worth considering against the space available before choosing a spot.

It can also serve as a grass-like surface in a pet play area. If the main need is simply a disposable surface for occasional accidents, a basic pee pad is a different, less turf-focused approach, the SSRIVER mat is intended to be rinsed and reused.

What you’ll notice day to day

The synthetic grass offers a consistent surface without mowing or watering. Drainage openings in the rubber backing are intended to let pee and rinse water pass through rather than pool on top. For indoor use, that setup means pairing the mat with a separate tray, as recommended in the product details. Outdoors, it can be placed in an area such as a balcony or backyard.

Care is straightforward according to the listed instructions: rinse with soapy water. This makes the mat a practical choice for someone prepared to clean a reusable potty surface as part of regular pet care. The source does not specify a cleaning schedule, so that will depend on how you use it.

Highlights

The pad measures 51.2 inches long by 31.5 inches wide, and the grass is listed as 1.18 inches high. Its plastic construction, green color, and grass-like texture give it a turf format rather than the flat, absorbent feel of a conventional training pad. The backing is described as having vertical drainage holes and a rubber gasket, intended to help liquids drain through.

The product is described for indoor and outdoor use, including potty training and pet play areas. It includes one artificial grass pad, a tray for indoor placement is not listed as included. That distinction is useful when planning the full setup, especially if the mat will sit on flooring.

Questions before you buy

Does it include a tray? The listed contents are one artificial grass pad, and the product information recommends an additional tray for indoor potty training.

How do you clean it? Rinse the pad with soapy water, following the stated care instructions.

Can it be used outside? The product is described for indoor and outdoor use, with examples including balconies and backyards.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a larger, reusable turf-style potty surface and have room to place it, particularly when a grass-like texture is preferable to a standard pee pad. For indoor training, plan for the separate tray the product details recommend. Better avoided if you need a complete indoor setup straight out of the package, since a tray is not listed among the included items.
