Sony Wireless Karaoke Microphone Set, Two Mics

Quick overview

For a living-room karaoke night or an impromptu duet, having two microphones ready can make it easier to sing together without passing one back and forth. The Sony ULT MIC set includes two wireless microphones and a receiver, with voice-focused noise reduction and Duet Assist to balance the singers’ volume. It’s designed to pair with ULT POWER SOUND speakers that have a microphone jack, so compatibility depends on the speaker you plan to use. The advertised battery life is up to 20 hours, and a 10-minute quick charge is said to provide up to 120 minutes of performance.

The appeal here is a complete two-singer setup rather than a single mic that requires an extra purchase for duets. Noise reduction is intended to reduce unwanted wind, hand, and breath sounds, while the microphones are tuned for clear, natural vocals. Tenor or alto, experienced singer or enthusiastic beginner, the stated features focus on making voices easier to hear over a karaoke session—not on adding extra production controls that aren’t listed.

How to use it

Connect the receiver to a compatible ULT POWER SOUND speaker’s microphone jack, then use the two wireless mics for a solo or duet. During a song, Duet Assist automatically balances voice volume when both people are singing. That could help when one singer naturally projects more than the other, it’s a practical convenience, though it doesn’t promise identical vocal levels in every room or performance.

Ten minutes of charging is listed as enough for up to 120 minutes of use, useful if you discover a low battery shortly before guests arrive. The longer stated runtime may suit extended sessions, but actual performance can vary with use. The product information doesn’t specify charging connectors or setup steps, so those details shouldn’t be assumed.

Practical tips

Before choosing this set, check that your speaker is in the ULT POWER SOUND series and has a microphone jack. The stated compatibility is specific to that combination, the listing doesn’t establish that the receiver works with other speaker lines or audio systems. Keep the receiver as part of the setup, since it’s included alongside the microphones.

A simple use case: one person takes the lead while a friend joins for the chorus, with each singer using a separate mic. The noise-reduction design may help cut down on handling and breath noise, but it isn’t a substitute for a quiet space if background sound is distracting. The built-in silicone damper is described as helping reduce potential damage, it doesn’t make the microphones indestructible. It suits you if you already have a compatible speaker and want two wireless mics for shared karaoke. It might not be a great match if you need a microphone set for a speaker without a mic jack or want compatibility beyond the stated Sony range.

Questions before you buy

Are two microphones included?

Yes. The package includes two wireless microphones and a receiver.

Does it work with any ULT POWER SOUND speaker?

The stated compatibility is with ULT POWER SOUND speakers that feature a microphone jack. The product details don’t confirm compatibility with other speakers.

How long does a quick charge last?

A 10-minute charge is listed as providing up to 120 minutes of performance. The battery is rated for up to 20 hours on a full charge, according to the maker.

Should you buy it?

This set makes the most sense when your karaoke setup already includes a compatible ULT POWER SOUND speaker and you want two people to sing without sharing one mic. Duet Assist, noise reduction, and the short-charge runtime address useful parts of a casual singing session. Tenor or alto, keep the purchase decision grounded in the connection requirement: if your speaker lacks a microphone jack, or isn’t within the stated compatible range, this listing doesn’t give enough reason to expect the set to work with it.
