SONEVOX NeoMic Mini NEOMICMINI Wireless Lavalier Microphone, Dual Transmitters, USB-C

The SONEVOX NeoMic Mini uses a USB-C receiver and two wireless lavalier transmitters to record one or two voices. Its 48 kHz/24-bit audio format is designed to capture natural voice detail for videos, interviews, podcasts, online classes, and livestreams. Plug-and-play operation keeps setup focused on recording rather than app configuration.

What stands out

Two transmitters let you capture two speakers at once, making the NeoMic Mini a practical fit for interviews, co-hosted podcasts, and conversations filmed on a phone. Compared with a one-transmitter setup, this arrangement gives each person a separate wearable mic while keeping both voices in one recording workflow. The microphones attach with the included magnetic clips, and furry windshields help reduce wind interference for outdoor clips and on-location interviews.

The system records at 48 kHz/24-bit and includes AI noise reduction to help keep speech clear in busy settings. The manufacturer states that noise reduction can reduce background noise by up to 70dB under controlled test conditions. That feature can be useful when recording around traffic or nearby conversations, while the omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound around each lavalier microphone. Each transmitter offers up to 6 hours of recording time and has a built-in USB-C charging port.

What matters most

The USB-C receiver connects to compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops, and USB-C audio-compatible action cameras. The package includes the receiver, two wireless transmitters, furry windshields, magnetic clip attachments, and a USB-A adapter for computers. There’s no Bluetooth pairing or app setup: connect the receiver to a compatible device, power on the microphones, and start recording.

For a two-person video, clip one transmitter to each speaker and position them for the shot. For solo vlogging, use one transmitter and keep the other available for a guest or a later recording. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection has a stated range of up to 656 ft in open, unobstructed environments, offering room to move around the frame in suitable recording conditions.

Buyers describe the microphone as easy to use and versatile, especially for phone videos and other content creation. That feedback aligns with the simple USB-C connection and wearable transmitters: the setup is intended to make recording voices straightforward without adding a separate app workflow.

How to use it

Connect the USB-C receiver to a compatible device, switch on the transmitter or transmitters, and begin recording. Attach each mic with its magnetic clip, then add a furry windshield when recording outdoors in windy conditions. Recharge a transmitter through its built-in USB-C port between sessions. For the clearest practical setup, place the mic on the person speaking and keep the receiver connected to the recording device.

Is it worth it?

The NeoMic Mini brings together two transmitters, USB-C plug-and-play connectivity, 48 kHz/24-bit audio, and AI noise reduction in a wireless lavalier system. It’s a useful choice for creators who record interviews, conversations, or solo videos on a compatible USB-C device and want a wearable microphone option that can handle one or two speakers. The included windshields and magnetic attachments also support quick changes between indoor content and outdoor recordings.
