EVERSHOW E2U10U016-1043 1043 Super Wick Humidifier Filter

For owners who need a replacement wick built for a humidifier that uses the 1043 filter, the EVERSHOW E2U10U016-1043 is a compatible replacement to consider. Its listed fit covers specific Essick Air AIRCARE and Bemis Space Saver models, so matching the humidifier model and filter number matters more than relying on the product name alone.

The filter is designed to help trap minerals from hard water and reduce white dust. It installs without tools, though buyer feedback is mixed on how well it continues to absorb water and how long it lasts.

The dimensions and 1043 reference give you concrete details to match against an existing filter. The listed package measurements are larger than the filter itself, so use the filter dimensions when comparing replacement fit. The design is intended to capture particles and hard-water minerals before they contribute to white powder in the room, that is a stated purpose, not a guarantee of a particular result with every water supply or humidifier.

Everyday compatibility

The manufacturer lists Essick Air AIRCARE models EP9500, EP9700, EP9800, EP9R500, EP9R700, EP9R800, 821000, 821001, 826000, 826800, 831000, 836000HB, and SS390DWHT. It also names the Bemis Space Saver 800 and 8000 evaporative humidifier series. The product is described as fitting humidifiers that require a 1043 wick, but compatibility with a model outside the listed set is not established here. Check the number on the current filter or humidifier before choosing this replacement.

That makes this a more targeted purchase than a universal-looking wick: it suits you if your humidifier calls for 1043 and its size matches. Better avoided if your model uses a different filter reference, since the listed compatibility does not establish fit for other formats.

Everyday use

Installation is described as a no-tool task: turn off the humidifier when it has run out of water, remove the top, and take out the filter frame to access the wick. The manufacturer recommends distilled water and replacing the filter every two to three months, depending on use. That schedule is guidance rather than a fixed service life.

Buyer comments often highlight easy installation and a good fit. Durability feedback is less consistent: some buyers say it lasts longer than other generic replacements, while others report a short lifespan. Some also describe weakening water absorption or insufficient wicking. Those reports make ongoing performance worth monitoring rather than assuming the filter will maintain the same absorption throughout the suggested replacement interval.

Before you decide

How do I confirm this is the right filter? Match the 1043 reference and the listed filter dimensions with the existing wick and your humidifier model. The listed compatibility includes selected AIRCARE and Bemis models.

Does installation require tools? The supplied product information describes replacing it by removing the humidifier top and filter frame, with no tools required.

How often should it be replaced? The manufacturer recommends every two to three months depending on use. Buyer reports about durability and water absorption vary, so the calendar interval may not reflect every user’s experience.

When it makes sense

This EVERSHOW wick is worth considering when you need a 1043-format replacement for one of the listed evaporative humidifiers and want a filter intended to reduce mineral carryover. It offers a straightforward alternative to looking specifically for a branded replacement, but the buyer feedback does not establish consistent service life or absorption for every unit. If you choose it, confirm the reference before ordering and pay attention to whether it continues to wick water during use.
