Seesii CS440-BLUE Electric Pruning Shears, 1.6-Inch Cut, Brushless Motor

Garden pruning can call for quick, repeated cuts or careful trimming around delicate stems. These cordless shears are designed to handle both kinds of work with four blade-opening modes and a rated cutting capacity of 1.6 inches.

The Seesii CS440-BLUE pairs a brushless motor with an SK5 steel blade for pruning branches, shrubs, vines, and fruit trees. Its cordless design lets you move around the yard without managing a power cord.

Two 4.0Ah batteries, an LCD display, and a storage case make the kit practical for planned pruning sessions. The display shows battery level and cut count, so useful information stays in view while you work.

What to know

The 1.6-inch cutting capacity suits a range of routine garden tasks, from shaping rose bushes to trimming vines and clearing seasonal growth. For branches within that capacity, the powered cutting action helps reduce repeated hand squeezing compared with manual pruning. The bypass-style blade is made from SK5 steel, and an extra SK5 replacement blade and sharpening stone are included in the kit.

Choose among four blade-opening modes to match the opening to the size of the stems you are cutting. That flexibility is useful when a pruning session moves between fine growth and thicker branches. The LCD provides a quick view of battery level and cut count, while the automatic sleep function supports safer pauses for blade checks or storage.

The kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries and a fast charger. The product information states 2,500+ cuts, and the dual-battery setup supports extended pruning work. At 2.8 lb, the shears have a rubber, nonslip grip for handling during garden tasks. A storage case, glove, tools, and instruction manual are also included.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the four opening modes to suit the stems in front of you, and keep cuts within the rated 1.6-inch capacity. When pausing to check the blade or put the shears away, the auto-sleep feature is designed to support a safer break in use. The included sharpening stone and replacement blade provide practical options for blade upkeep, follow the instruction manual for care and operation.

Who it’s for

These shears are suited to home gardeners and anyone tending shrubs, roses, fruit trees, or vines who wants powered pruning in a cordless format. They can also suit orchard and vineyard tasks where repeated trimming is part of the work. Compared with choosing a manual tool for every cut, this model’s powered action is a useful fit for sessions involving frequent branch trimming. Buyers often praise its cutting effectiveness and manageable weight, and some say powered pruning is helpful when hand squeezing is difficult.
