SEADER Stove Top Cover, 28.35 x 20.47 inches

When the cooktop is off and fully cooled, an unused stove can become extra visual space in the kitchen. The SEADER stove top cover adds a baking-themed design while covering that area.

The print features three cats in chef hats with baking items, including a croissant, whisk, piping bag, eggs, and cookies.

It measures 28.35 x 20.47 inches and is made from a polyester and diatomaceous earth mixture.

What to know

This is a flat, printed mat rather than raised or three-dimensional décor. Shading and color give the artwork visual depth, but the surface itself stays flat. That makes the design easy to read at a glance without adding sculpted details to the cooktop area.

The pattern is more specific than a plain, solid-color cover: it suits kitchens where baking motifs feel at home, including baking corners, apartments, family kitchens, and cafés. If your priority is a neutral surface that disappears into the room, this cat-and-pastry artwork may be too prominent.

Keep in mind that, from the way it is set up, this is for a clean, flat, fully cooled appliance surface—not for use while cooking. Remove it before operating a burner or heating element. The listed heat-resistant wording should not be taken as permission to leave it on an active cooktop.

How to use it

Place the mat only on a clean, flat cooktop that has been switched off and allowed to cool completely. Before ordering, measure the cooking area and surrounding clearance against the 28.35 x 20.47-inch dimensions, the product information does not establish that it will fit every stove. Follow the appliance instructions as well as the mat’s stated use conditions.

A practical use is to lay it over an unused cooktop after dinner, when the appliance is cool, so the kitchen’s baking theme carries across the counter area. Take it off before preparing breakfast or turning on any heating element. It is intended to cover an unused cooking zone, not to make the stove usable as a work surface while burners are on.

Practical tips

Think about the room before choosing the pattern. The cats, chef hats, and baking props make this a decorative choice as much as a cover, a plain mat is the simpler route if you want less visual detail. For someone who enjoys baking-themed décor, the printed scene can make an idle cooktop feel more coordinated without adding raised ornaments.

Check both the cooktop dimensions and the space around it, rather than relying on the overall look of the listing. The artwork is printed flat, so don’t expect a textured or embossed finish. The product description also does not provide cleaning instructions, so avoid assuming a particular washing method.

Before you decide

Can it stay on while a burner is operating? No. The instructions say to remove it before using any burner or heating element, and to place it only on a fully cooled appliance.

Is the cat artwork raised? No. It is a flat 2D print, the shading creates an impression of depth, not a raised surface.

What are the dimensions and material? It measures 28.35 x 20.47 inches and uses a polyester and diatomaceous earth mixture.

Buying verdict

It suits you if you want a decorative cover for a fully cooled, unused cooktop and like baking-themed artwork more than a plain surface. The printed cats give it a distinct look, while the stated dimensions provide a concrete starting point for checking fit. Not the best choice if you need something to remain on the stove during cooking, want a low-key design, or expect the mat to fit without measuring first.
