SAIREIDER SC-B0402 Memory Foam Coccyx Seat Cushion with Removable Cover

A simple layer of padding can soften a seat, while a contoured cushion also creates space around the tailbone. The SAIREIDER SC-B0402 uses memory foam and a U-shaped cutout to support more comfortable sitting. Its portable design suits an office chair, car seat, or other seating spot. A removable cover and non-slip bottom add practical details for everyday use.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the cushion on the seat with the U-shaped opening positioned beneath the tailbone. This design keeps the coccyx suspended above the seat surface and is intended to reduce pressure around the tailbone, back, and legs while sitting. The rectangular shape works across several settings listed for the cushion, including office chairs, car seats, home chairs, airplane seats, and wheelchairs.

For a drive or a day at a desk, the side handle makes it easier to carry the cushion between seats. The non-slip bottom helps it stay in position during use, while the removable cover makes routine care more convenient. The zipper is tucked away beneath an extended cover flap, keeping it out of the way when the cushion rests against a chair.

Why it’s worth it

The defining feature is the U-shaped cutout: unlike a cushion that simply adds padding across the whole seat, this design leaves space beneath the tailbone while the memory foam cushions the surrounding area. That makes it a useful approach for people looking to change how a firm chair or car seat feels during longer periods of sitting. The foam is described as soft and supportive, and the lightweight, portable format makes it practical to move from a vehicle to a desk or another seat.

Buyers often praise the support and say they find it helpful in car seats, as well as for sitting comfort around the lower back, hips, and tailbone. Feedback on firmness, thickness, and fit is mixed: preferences vary, and some buyers find the cushion firmer, thicker, or narrower than they would like. The removable cover, carry handle, and non-slip base round out the design with details that make it easier to handle and use in different settings.

Questions before you buy

Where can you use this cushion? It is designed for use on an office chair, car seat, home chair, airplane seat, or wheelchair. Its portable format and side handle make it easy to move between seating areas.

How does the cutout support sitting comfort? The U-shaped opening keeps the coccyx suspended above the seat surface. The foam cushions the surrounding area, with the design intended to ease pressure along the tailbone, back, and legs.

How do you care for the cover? The cover is removable and machine washable, so it can be taken off for cleaning.

Is it worth it?

For anyone who wants more than a flat layer of padding, this cushion combines memory foam with a tailbone cutout to change the contact point beneath the seat.
