CLOATFET CLDD01 2-Inch Dual-Wheel Chair Casters, Grey TPR, Set of 5
Product description
Replace worn office-chair wheels to make it easier to move between a desk and nearby work areas. The CLOATFET CLDD01 set includes five grey, 2-inch dual-wheel casters with soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR) wheels designed for smooth, quiet rolling on hardwood, tile, and low-pile carpet.
The standard 7/16-inch stem fits many office chairs, and the push-in installation requires no tools. Check your chair’s stem size before ordering, these casters are not compatible with IKEA chairs that use a 10mm stem.
Fit and sizing
Each caster has a 7/16-inch-diameter stem that is 7/8 inch long. To install, pull the old casters out, align each new stem with its socket, and press until it locks into place. This set is intended for chairs with matching stem sockets, making it a practical replacement for worn or hard-plastic wheels. The stated IKEA exception is useful to keep in mind when checking your chair’s hardware.
The 2-inch dual-wheel format has a wider contact surface than ordinary single-wheel casters, while its lower profile keeps the wheel height below that of a 3-inch option. That makes this set a straightforward choice when you want a compact replacement style rather than larger wheels.
Benefits
Soft TPR wheels are designed to roll across hardwood and tile without leaving marks, scratches, or scuffs. Their material also makes them a floor-conscious alternative to hard plastic casters. For a home office or shared workspace, the dual-wheel design and precision ball bearings in both the swivel and axle support quiet movement while repositioning a chair.
Would a quieter, floor-friendly roll make everyday chair movement more comfortable in your workspace? Buyers often highlight smooth movement and quiet operation, along with a sturdy feel. These comments reflect customer impressions, while the product’s stated capacity is 130 pounds per wheel and 650 pounds for the set.
The steel brackets have an electrophoretic coating intended to resist rust and corrosion. It’s a great fit if you’re replacing a set of standard stem casters and want grey rubber wheels for use on bare floors or low-pile carpet.
