ASHGOOB TR02 Office Chair Wheels, 10-Pack 3-Inch PU Casters

For anyone replacing office chair wheels to protect hard floors and reduce rolling noise, the ASHGOOB TR02 set offers a practical polyurethane upgrade.

The 10-pack has 3-inch wheels with a soft PU tread designed for hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and low-pile carpet. Their clear finish keeps the replacement focused on everyday function.

A standard push-in stem makes installation straightforward on compatible chairs. Check that your chair uses a 7/16-inch by 7/8-inch stem before ordering, these casters are not compatible with IKEA chairs.

What to know

These casters are made from polyurethane, a softer contact material intended to roll across floors without leaving marks or scratching hard surfaces. That makes them useful in a home office or shared workspace where a chair moves between a desk and nearby work areas. Compared with a rigid plastic replacement, PU is the floor-conscious choice when quieter, smoother movement is a priority.

Each caster is rated for 130 pounds, and a five-wheel set is rated for up to 650 pounds of static load. The wheels use dual ball bearings and heat-treated steel, with a 3-inch diameter and 0.95-inch width. The 10-pack gives you wheels for a replacement or for keeping spares available. The stated capacity applies to a five-wheel set, so use the chair’s actual caster count when matching the rating to your setup.

Fit and sizing

The stem measures 7/16 inch wide by 7/8 inch long, also listed as 11mm by 22mm. These are press-in stem casters for chairs with a matching socket, rather than a bolt-on mounting style. They are designed for most standard task, desk, and executive chairs, but IKEA chairs use a different stem size. Comparing the old caster’s stem with these measurements helps establish whether the replacement will fit before installation.

Everyday use

The polyurethane tread is intended for hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and carpet, with low-pile carpet specifically suited to rolling use. For a home office, that means the same replacement set can serve across common hard flooring and a low-pile rug. The larger 3-inch wheel format and ball bearings support smooth chair movement, while the soft tread is designed to help limit floor marks and rolling noise.

Installation is a direct pull-and-press replacement: remove the old casters and push the new stems into the chair sockets. No tools are needed. Buyers often describe the wheels as quiet and easy to install, and some appreciate the smooth movement as an upgrade from plastic casters. Feedback on long-term durability and stability is mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee.

What to clarify

What comes in the package? The set includes 10 office chair wheels, providing a matching group of replacement casters.

How much weight can they support? Each caster has a stated 130-pound capacity. A standard five-caster set is rated for up to 650 pounds of static load.

Do they require tools to install? No. Pull out the existing wheels and press the new stems into compatible chair sockets. Confirm the stem size and mounting style before fitting them.

Is it worth it?

This set makes sense when the goal is to replace standard push-in chair casters with PU wheels suited to hard flooring and low-pile carpet. Its useful combination is the floor-conscious tread, 3-inch rolling format, and tool-free installation. For a compatible chair in a home office or everyday workspace, it provides a straightforward way to refresh chair movement while helping protect the floor beneath it.
