ROOME QX-128 Acoustic Panels, 18-Pack Self-Adhesive 3D Gray Panels

Practical tips

For a home studio, podcast corner, or game room where echoes make conversations and recordings harder to manage, these ROOME panels add sound-absorbing coverage while bringing a geometric look to the wall. Each gray panel measures 12 x 12 inches and is 0.4 inches thick, so you can arrange the pieces to suit the area and pattern you want to create.

The self-adhesive backing is designed for installation on surfaces such as walls, doors, windows, and ceilings without extra glue or tools. Arrange the beveled, multi-line panels in a pinwheel or multi-ring pattern for a decorative layout that also serves an acoustic purpose.

Benefits

These panels are intended to absorb unwanted sound, including echo and standing waves, and to help reduce noise in a room. The listed sound absorption coefficient is 0.95. That makes them a practical choice for acoustic treatment in spaces used for recording, video blogging, gaming, or listening to audio, where managing reflected sound matters.

The 3D geometric surface gives the wall a more considered finish than a plain foam treatment. If your priority is simply to add a decorative wall detail, a non-acoustic wall covering may be enough, these panels suit rooms where appearance and sound absorption are both part of the goal. Their self-adhesive format also makes them useful when you want to place panels directly on a range of surfaces without a separate adhesive step.

Key points

The 18-piece set is made from 100% polyester fiber. The beveled edges and multi-line design can be arranged into different patterns, helping you shape the look of a studio, office, home theater, or other room while adding acoustic treatment. The product is described as B1 class flame retardant.

Buyers often praise the panels’ appearance, ease of installation, and adhesion, and some describe improved room acoustics. Those impressions can help set expectations for the day-to-day experience, while the stated purpose remains sound absorption and noise reduction—not a guarantee that outside noise will be blocked.

For a compact recording setup, you could place a group of panels on a wall near the area where you speak or record, then use the remaining pieces to continue the geometric pattern elsewhere in the room. The 12-inch square format makes it straightforward to plan a layout using individual panels rather than one large sheet.
