Focusound 24-Pack Pyramid Acoustic Foam Panels, 12 x 16 x 2 in, 30 kg/m³
Product description
Each 12 x 16 x 2-inch Focusound acoustic foam panel has a three-dimensional pyramid surface designed to absorb sound and reduce echo and reverberation. The 24-panel set gives you multiple pieces to arrange across a wall in an office, recording space, vocal room, or game room.
Made from polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, these lightweight panels can be cut to size for a more tailored layout. They arrive vacuum-packed and typically return to their original shape within 24 to 48 hours after opening.
Who it’s for
These panels are intended for spaces where clearer room acoustics matter, including recording studios, vocal rooms, control rooms, radio stations, offices, bedrooms, and game rooms. They can help tame echo and reverberation around a recording or work area, supporting a more controlled listening and speaking environment.
They suit people looking to add acoustic treatment directly to a wall without choosing one large, fixed-size piece. With 24 individual panels, you can arrange the coverage around the area you want to treat. For example, a home recording setup can use them on a nearby wall to address reflections around the microphone and listening position.

Why it’s worth it
The pyramid-shaped, three-dimensional surface is designed to increase the area that meets sound waves, helping reduce echo and reverberation in treated spaces. That makes the set relevant for recording and vocal work, where reflections can affect how a room sounds, as well as offices or game rooms where a less echo-prone environment is useful.
What makes a multi-panel layout practical? You can position separate pieces across the wall rather than committing to a single panel shape, and trim them to fit the arrangement you have in mind. The foam is lightweight, so it is manageable to place, use a suitable adhesive for mounting, since adhesive is not included.
After opening the vacuum-packed panels, allow 24 to 48 hours for them to recover their shape. This gives you a straightforward way to prepare the pieces before arranging them in your space.
Before you decide
How many panels are in the set, and what size is each one? The set contains 24 panels. Each measures 12 x 16 x 2 inches.
How long do the panels take to regain their shape after unpacking? They usually return to their original state within 24 to 48 hours after the vacuum packaging is opened.
Is adhesive included for installation? No. The panels do not include adhesive, so plan to use a suitable mounting adhesive separately.
