AKUMAX AM -3D02-Walnut-18mm-4P Acoustic Wall Panels, 0.7-Inch Walnut

For a home office, studio, or living room where hard surfaces make voices, music, or TV audio echo, these walnut wood slat panels add sound absorption and a finished architectural look. Their tested NRC rating of up to 0.80 reflects their role in reducing reflected sound within a room, helping make everyday listening and conversation more comfortable.

The four-panel set covers 15.5 sq. ft. and can be arranged together or cut to fit a wall or ceiling layout. Its layered construction pairs acoustic felt with wood slats and a walnut veneer finish.

The slatted surface helps diffuse sound reflections, while the thick felt backing absorbs acoustic energy. This combination is designed to improve a room’s acoustics rather than block sound from traveling through walls. Compared with a sound-isolation approach, these panels are suited to managing echo inside the space itself. Their walnut finish also brings a warm, defined surface to a plain wall or ceiling.

Best use cases

Use the panels behind or near a desk to help make video calls clearer in a home office, or add them to a gaming room or home theater to manage reverberation around dialogue and other audio. In a recording or music room, they can help control excess reflections, in a living room or bedroom, they offer a way to soften reflections from everyday conversation and TV sound while adding a consistent wood-slat design.

For a practical layout, arrange all four squares in a 2 x 2 pattern to cover an area of approximately 47.2 x 47.2 inches. The consistent slat spacing and edge margins help adjoining panels form continuous lines. The panels can also be cut around corners, switches, and outlets to suit the wall or ceiling plan.
