risuoge 998542 2-Drawer Metal File Cabinet, Black, with Wide Printer Stand Top

Highlights

At 15.74"D x 31.5"W x 24.8"H, the risuoge 998542 is a wide, low-profile metal cabinet for a home office or another room that needs extra storage. Its two drawers provide space for paperwork, notebooks, stationery, and office supplies. The powder-coated black finish and gold-tone handles give it a more furniture-like look than a basic filing unit, while the top can hold a printer or scanner.

This cabinet is listed as not suitable for hanging files, so it makes more sense for loose documents and everyday supplies than for a filing system built around suspended folders. The raised support legs keep the cabinet off the floor, and adjustable feet are among its listed features. The product details also describe the finish as rust- and scratch-resistant, those descriptions are not a substitute for care instructions or a stated durability guarantee.

Fit and sizing

The 31.5-inch-wide top offers a surface for office equipment and accessories, while the 15.74-inch depth and roughly 24.8-inch height may suit a space beside or beneath a desk, provided those measurements work for your layout. Measure the intended spot and the equipment footprint before choosing it, especially if you plan to place a printer on top. No load capacity is provided, so the listing does not establish how much weight the top can support.

Worth considering if you want a low cabinet that combines closed storage with a printer stand, rather than a taller unit dedicated to hanging files. It might not be a great match if your filing routine depends on hanging folders or you need documented drawer capacity before deciding. Buyers’ comments are positive about assembly, appearance, and smooth drawer movement, but opinions about how spacious the cabinet feels are mixed, storage needs and document sizes can affect whether the drawers feel roomy enough.

Usage tips

Use the drawers for loose papers, notebooks, and smaller office supplies, and keep frequently used items in the top drawer for easier access. Before assembly, compare the cabinet’s listed dimensions with your available floor space and check that the top leaves room for the printer or scanner you intend to use. The product information says illustrated instructions and required hardware are included. Following the assembly steps and checking that the cabinet sits evenly on its adjustable feet can help it fit the chosen spot.

The raised legs may also make routine floor cleaning easier than with a cabinet that rests directly on the floor. For a shared office or bedroom, the black finish and gold-tone pulls may blend more naturally with furniture than a plain utilitarian filing cabinet. Keep the distinction in mind: this is a two-drawer storage cabinet for loose office items, not a hanging-file cabinet.

Final verdict

Choose the risuoge 998542 if a wide top for a printer and two metal storage drawers address your main needs, and its measurements fit your room. It offers a combination of office storage and a usable equipment surface without taking the form of a tall filing cabinet. If hanging files are essential, look for a cabinet specifically designed for them, this listing expressly excludes that use. And if you need to confirm whether a particular printer or load will fit, the product details do not provide a weight limit, so the stated dimensions alone cannot answer that question.
