puredown BK4578 King Goose Feather and Down Pillows, Set of 2

The king-size puredown BK4578 pillows measure 20 x 36 inches and come as a set of two. Each has a 100% cotton cover with a gusseted shape, quilted diamond pattern, and brown piping for a polished hotel-style look on the bed.

The fill is 95% goose feathers and 5% goose down, with a 49-ounce fill weight. Medium firmness and a breathable cotton cover make this set a practical choice for everyday home bedding.

Practical tips

Use a pillowcase to help protect the cotton cover and keep the pillows ready for regular use. For washing, use a cold, separate, gentle machine cycle, then tumble dry on low until thoroughly dry. Fluffing the pillows in the morning can help maintain their loft and shape over time.

The gusseted construction and quilted finish give the pillows a more tailored appearance than a plain, untrimmed bed pillow. That detail suits a coordinated bedroom setup, while the king size provides a broad surface across the bed. At bedtime, the feather-and-down blend offers a lightweight, cushioned feel with medium firmness.

Why it’s worth it

This set combines a cotton cover with a feather-and-down fill, bringing breathable fabric and a soft, supportive feel into a single everyday pillow. Double fabric lining and careful stitching are designed to help keep the filling from working through the cover, while the gusseted sides add a finished edge. The pillows are also described as washable, making machine care part of their practical appeal.

Customer feedback commonly praises comfort and overall quality, while opinions on softness and support vary. Some buyers appreciate the soft feel and support, others find the pillows firmer than expected or wish they held their loft more consistently. That range of feedback makes the medium-firm description useful when comparing them with pillows chosen primarily for a very soft or highly structured feel.

Key takeaways

The two king pillows share a 20 x 36-inch size and a 100% cotton cover. Their filling is 95% goose feathers and 5% goose down, with 49 ounces of fill, and the stated firmness is medium. The gusseted design, diamond quilting, and brown piping create a more decorative, hotel-inspired look than a basic plain pillow. Machine washing and low-heat tumble drying provide straightforward care when the pillows need refreshing.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a matching pair with natural feather-and-down fill, a cotton cover, and a finished gusseted profile. The combination is suited to everyday bedroom use and also works well when you want coordinated pillows for a king-size bed.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when two king-size pillows, a breathable cotton cover, and a feather-and-down feel fit the way you want to outfit your bed. The quilted surface and piping make the set especially fitting for a hotel-inspired bedroom look, while the machine-wash care instructions support regular home use. For shoppers weighing a simple, plain pillow against one with a more tailored appearance, the gusseted construction and decorative finish offer a clear style distinction without changing the central purpose: comfortable, coordinated bedding.
