Portable Camping Toilet Kit with 22-Inch Storage Bag

Quick overview

The pop-up privacy tent is the feature that changes this from a toilet you have to position behind a tree into a more self-contained outdoor setup. The kit pairs it with a folding ergonomic toilet, 12 trash bags, 12 packets of waste gel, and a camping lantern, so you have several of the basic pieces together for camping or emergency use.

The toilet folds for storage in the included 22-inch bag, and the tent is designed to pop up with stakes, a zippered roof, side windows, and a storage pocket. From the way it is set up, this kit is aimed at having a private spot ready outdoors rather than carrying a bare portable toilet and improvising a screen around it.

Best use cases

This setup makes sense for campsites without a convenient restroom, fishing trips, beach outings, road trips, or keeping a portable toilet available for emergencies. Picture arriving at a campsite after dark: the tent gives you a designated private space, while the included lantern can help light the area. Its roof zipper and side windows are intended to provide ventilation, and the stakes help secure the shelter outdoors.

The seat is described as larger, taller, and cushioned, with a stated 400-pound support limit. That may be worth considering if a small, low seat is a concern. It suits you if you want a toilet and privacy shelter in one carryable kit. It might not be a great match if you need a permanent restroom setup or want to travel with only the smallest possible toilet, the tent and its accessories add to what you have to pack.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the tent up on a level spot with enough room to open it and place the stakes. Keep the bags and gel together so they are easy to reach when needed, and use the built-in pocket for small items you want close by. The gel is included to solidify waste and help control odors, while the bags provide a way to collect it for disposal.

Keep in mind that the lantern’s batteries are not included, so it will not be ready to light the tent straight out of the package. The tent’s pop-up design may be convenient when you want a dedicated private area, but it still requires space and setup, a basic portable toilet without a shelter is the simpler approach when privacy is already available.

Practical doubts

What comes in the kit? It includes the folding toilet, pop-up privacy tent, 12 trash bags, 12 waste-gel packets, and a camping lantern. The listed storage bag is 22 inches.

Does the tent need to be secured? The tent includes eight ground stakes. They are intended to anchor it outdoors, so setup involves more than simply unfolding the shelter.

Can the lantern be used immediately? Batteries are not included, so you will need to provide them before using the lantern.

Is it worth it?

This kit is worth considering if privacy is part of the problem you are trying to solve, not just having somewhere to sit. The toilet, shelter, bags, gel, and lantern are bundled together, which is more convenient than assembling those pieces separately. The tradeoff is bulk and setup: someone who already has access to a restroom or needs a minimal, quick-to-pack option may be better served by a simpler portable toilet. For camping and other outdoor stops where a private enclosure matters, the included tent is the clearest reason to choose this set.
