POPFRO 6.7 oz Pepper Spray with Quick-Release Carry Clip
Product description
For campers, hikers, and anglers looking for a portable self-defense deterrent, the POPFRO pepper spray is designed to ride in an outer backpack pocket and stay accessible during outdoor activities. Its upper buckle is meant to release quickly, while the compact format keeps it from taking up much pack space.
The listing describes a forward spray and gives a stated use range of 15 to 20 feet. Buyer feedback is mixed on effectiveness, though, and some customers report getting only two short shots. That makes the reported spray output an important consideration rather than a detail to overlook.
Size & fit
The product name identifies this as a 6.7-ounce spray. The description characterizes it as small and lightweight, with an outer backpack pocket offered as a carry location. It is aimed at people who want a deterrent with them while camping, hiking, or fishing, rather than a larger item that takes up more room in a pack. The listing does not provide physical dimensions or weight beyond the 6.7-ounce size designation, so it is not possible to compare its exact footprint with other carry options.
The quick-release buckle is part of the carrying design: the spray is pulled from the upper buckle for use and returned to it afterward. That setup may suit someone who wants the product secured to a pack instead of loose among other gear. It makes sense if compact outdoor carry and quick access are priorities. You may want to skip it if you need a clearly documented number of sprays or a sustained output, the buyer feedback includes concerns about only two short shots.
Benefits
The main practical appeal is having a self-defense deterrent intended for outdoor recreation without dedicating much space to it. The buckle-and-pocket approach gives it a defined place on a backpack, while the forward-spray design is presented as straightforward to operate. These are convenience features, not a guarantee of effectiveness in a particular situation.
Customer comments are favorable about the product's quality, and some describe it positively as a bear deterrent or say it offers peace of mind. Effectiveness feedback is not uniform: some buyers say it works as expected, while others criticize its performance and mention limited short bursts. Those impressions are not a substitute for product specifications, but they suggest that buyers should weigh portability against uncertainty about the amount of spray available. Within these limits, this is more focused on compact carry than on a documented high-capacity or extended-use format.

What range does the listing state? It gives a range of 15 to 20 feet. This is a stated product detail, not an independently established result.

Final verdict
POPFRO’s 6.7-ounce format and quick-release carry design are relevant if you want a compact deterrent for camping, hiking, or fishing. The stated range may help frame the product’s intended use, but buyer feedback raises a specific concern about limited short bursts, and effectiveness opinions vary. Choose it for the described carry format only if that uncertainty fits your needs, the available details do not establish a dependable number of sprays or consistent results.
