PHTTULE Slow Down Sign 18 x 12 inches

When drivers cut through a residential street, a reminder to slow down can be useful—but a sign only helps if it is visible and easy to place. This PHTTULE Children at Play sign is made for that job, with reflective sheeting, a bright design, and mounting holes for a fence, gate, wall, or pole.

The listing includes two signs, so you can mark more than one approach to a play area. Just note that screws, nails, and tie-wraps are not included.

Fit and sizing

Each sign measures 18 x 12 inches and is made from .040 rust-free aluminum. That gives you a defined size to compare with the space where you plan to mount it, the listing does not provide a different size option. Two pre-drilled holes are intended to make installation straightforward, but you will need to supply the attachment hardware and choose a mounting surface that can hold the sign securely.

Picture a driveway entrance or a fence along the street: the sign can face passing drivers before they reach the area where children play. Its reflective surface is intended to help the wording stand out, though visibility will still depend on where and how you install it. It’s a great fit if you want a fixed, visible reminder rather than a temporary notice you have to put out and bring back in. It may not suit you if you need a portable sign or expect mounting hardware to come in the package. Without having tried it, the practical buying consideration is whether you have a suitable place and fasteners ready.

Pros

The two-pack gives you a pair of signs for separate mounting spots, which can help make a warning visible from more than one direction. The engineer-grade reflective sheeting is designed to make the graphics easier to notice, while the aluminum construction avoids the rust concern associated with iron-based signs. The listing also describes the graphics as fade-resistant and suited to outdoor exposure, including sun and rain.

The trade-off is that a sign is a reminder, not a way to control traffic. Placement matters: a blocked, poorly oriented, or distant sign may be less noticeable to drivers. The listing claims a lifespan of more than seven years, but actual service life can depend on exposure and installation conditions.

Would two fixed signs work better for your layout than one larger or portable warning? That depends on the approaches drivers use and the mounting points available. This set favors marking more than one spot with matching signs, rather than moving a single sign around as needed.

Final verdict

Choose this set if you need two fixed outdoor reminders for a residential street, yard, or business area and already have a way to mount them. The reflective face, aluminum body, and pre-drilled holes address the main practical questions for an outdoor sign, while the two-pack can suit locations with more than one approach. Skip it if you need a complete hardware kit, a movable warning, or a product that physically slows traffic, none of those functions is stated for this sign.
