PHILIPS TAX4209/78 Bluetooth Party Speaker, 120W, RGB Lights, Karaoke Inputs

Set up music for a backyard gathering, birthday, or karaoke night with the PHILIPS TAX4209/78 Bluetooth Party Speaker. Its 120W maximum output and Dynamic Bass Boost give a playlist a dedicated sound system, while 10 RGB light modes add color to the room.

Connect a phone or tablet over Bluetooth 5.0, or play tracks from a USB drive, TF card, or AUX source. FM radio provides another way to listen when you want to tune in rather than stream.

With two microphone inputs and a dedicated guitar input, the speaker supports more than background music. It also has an integrated carry handle for moving it between party spaces.

Getting the most from it

Use the speaker as the center of a get-together: queue music from a phone, adjust bass with Dynamic Bass Boost, and select an RGB lighting effect to suit the occasion. The built-in controls handle everyday playback, while the included remote lets you manage volume, tracks, and lighting from across the room.

For karaoke, connect microphones through the two mic inputs and use their volume controls, echo effects add another performance option. A dedicated guitar input makes it possible to bring live playing into the same setup. If you want to capture a session, the speaker also includes a record function for recording and playback.

The rechargeable 5,200 mAh battery provides up to 16 hours of playtime, and the handle makes it practical to carry the speaker from an indoor gathering to an outdoor celebration. Use it on a floor-standing setup, then connect your music source through the option that suits the moment.

Benefits

This is a party-focused speaker rather than a small personal Bluetooth speaker: the two 7-inch woofers, 2.5-inch tweeter, and 120W maximum output are designed for shared listening at events. Dynamic Bass Boost offers bass presets, so you can adjust the low-end character without changing the music source.

Want to make the music part of the entertainment? The 10 RGB light modes create a more lively visual backdrop, while the microphone and guitar inputs let guests take turns singing or playing. That combination makes the speaker useful for occasions where a standard music-only speaker would not support the same hands-on participation.

Bluetooth 5.0 gives you a wireless option for a compatible phone, tablet, or laptop, with a listed Bluetooth range of 10 meters. USB, TF card, AUX, and FM radio broaden playback choices for different sources and listening preferences. True Wireless Stereo pairing is also available when you want to pair two speakers wirelessly.
