OHOME Dia de los Muertos Giant Coloring Poster, 30 x 72-Inch Paper Banner

Worth noting

If you want a decoration that is ready to display, this isn’t that kind of purchase. The OHOME Dia de los Muertos poster is a large paper coloring activity that becomes a personalized decoration after kids or adults add their own colors. Its illustrations include sugar skulls, marigolds, skeleton musicians, candles, and traditional patterns, giving the activity a clear connection to the holiday rather than a generic coloring-page theme.

The finished piece can be displayed at home, in a classroom, or at a themed gathering. Buyers mention that the large coloring surface gives several children room to join in and that coloring can be enjoyable for both kids and grownups. Those comments are useful context, though the poster is made of paper, so handle and display it as a paper craft rather than assuming it functions as a reusable table covering.

Fit and sizing

The rectangular poster measures 72 inches long by 30 inches wide. That makes it more suited to a shared coloring activity or a prominent display area than to a small, individual coloring task. Before setting it out, consider where participants will sit and where the completed artwork might go, its size is part of the appeal, but it also needs a surface or display space that can accommodate it.

It suits you if you want a collaborative, screen-free activity for a family gathering, classroom project, cultural event, or Day of the Dead celebration. If the goal is simply to decorate a space without an activity, a finished decoration would better match that need. Which makes more sense depends on whether the group wants to make something together or display something already complete.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the poster on a broad, flat work surface and choose coloring supplies appropriate for the paper. The product description lists crayons, markers, colored pencils, and paints as options, but it does not specify whether the paper is coated or how different mediums behave on it. If using paint or markers, a protective layer beneath the sheet is a sensible precaution for the surface underneath.

For a group activity, participants can work on different sections of the illustrations, then display the finished poster as part of the celebration. This offers a more participatory alternative to buying decor that arrives ready-made, while requiring time for the group to color it. Buyers’ comments also point to the oversized coloring area as a draw for children and adults to work on together.

Practical questions

What is shown on the poster? The designs include sugar skulls, marigold flowers, skeleton musicians, candles, and traditional patterns associated with Day of the Dead.

Can more than one person color it? Its 72-by-30-inch size provides room for a shared activity, and buyers describe the coloring area as large enough for multiple children to participate.

Does it arrive as a finished decoration? No. It is a paper coloring poster, the artwork becomes a personalized display after it has been colored.

Is it worth it?

This is a practical pick when the activity itself matters as much as the finished decor. The large rectangular format gives a group a shared project, and the holiday-specific illustrations can support a classroom or family conversation about the celebration while everyone colors. Not the best choice if you need a ready-to-hang decoration or a small sheet for one person, its main appeal is the opportunity to make the display together.
