IDL Packaging White Kraft Paper Roll 18-Inch

For teachers, parents, and makers, this white kraft paper roll is suited to projects that need a clean, writable surface as well as plenty of wrapping material.

It also has a practical role at home: use it to wrap gifts, cushion items, or fill empty space in a package before moving or storage.

The main trade-off is its 18-inch width. Wider objects may need overlapping sheets rather than one continuous wrap.

Technical details

The roll measures 18 inches wide by 180 feet long, with 270 square feet of paper in total. It is described as 100% recycled natural white kraft paper, made in the USA, with a non-toxic, unwaxed surface. Those details make it suitable for drawing, crafts, gift wrapping, and general packaging tasks without a waxed finish getting in the way.

For packing, the paper can cushion belongings and fill gaps around items in a box. That can help keep things from shifting during transport or storage, though the product details do not specify a paper thickness or a rated level of protection. Treat it as versatile packing paper, not as a replacement for purpose-built protective packaging when an item needs specialized cushioning.

Getting the most from it

This is a simple roll rather than a kit, so it suits jobs where you can cut paper to the size you need. A teacher could spread a length across a table for a shared drawing activity, then cut smaller pieces for individual projects. At home, the same roll can move from a gift-wrapping session to filling gaps in a moving box.

Compared with buying paper for just one task, the range of suggested uses is a plus if you regularly craft and pack. If your only goal is wrapping broad or bulky items, though, the 18-inch width may require extra joins. The listing also mentions using it as a garden weed barrier, but gives no installation guidance or performance details for that use.

Usage tips

Cut only what a project needs and keep the remaining roll for the next task. For a drawing or school activity, place the paper on a flat surface and use its unwaxed face as the working area. For a gift, overlap the edges where needed and secure them with whatever wrapping supplies you already use, no fastening method is specified for this roll.

When packing, crumple or fold sections to fill open spaces around belongings, then check that the contents are not shifting before closing the box. The paper is described as cushioning and void fill, but there is no stated thickness or tear-strength rating. It makes sense if you want one paper roll for everyday creative projects and ordinary packing jobs. It might not be a great match if your project depends on a specified protective rating or needs a single sheet wider than the roll.

Questions before you buy

How much paper is on the roll? It is 18 inches wide and 180 feet long, with 270 square feet of total area.

Can kids use it for drawing and crafts? The product is described as non-toxic and suitable for school crafts, art projects, and drawing. Adult supervision may still be appropriate depending on the activity and tools being used.

Is the surface waxed? No. The listing describes it as unwaxed, which suits uses such as drawing, crafts, and wrapping.

Should you buy it?

Choose this roll if you want recycled white kraft paper that can move between art projects, gift wrapping, and routine packing, and the 18-inch width works for the items you handle. It offers a useful amount of material for mixed household or school tasks. On the spec sheet, its protective role is broad rather than precisely rated, so choose a product with defined cushioning specifications if you need protection for especially fragile or sensitive items.
