S&S Worldwide Sidewalk Chalk Set, 126 Pieces

For teachers, camp leaders, and families planning shared outdoor activities, this bulk sidewalk chalk set is built around quantity and easy-to-hold sticks. It includes 126 pieces across nine colors, with 14 sticks per color, so a group can draw at the same time without relying on a small handful of chalk.

The jumbo sticks measure 4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. That thicker shape gives kids a more substantial grip for drawing, hopscotch, and larger sidewalk designs, though it still makes sense to handle them with care: break-resistant does not mean unbreakable.

Key specifications

The set contains 126 non-toxic chalk sticks in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple, pink, and white. There are 14 sticks of each color, and the chalk comes packed in a sturdy chalk box. Each stick is 4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Those dimensions make the set more suited to broad lines and easy-to-grip drawing than to fine, detailed work.

The chalk is described as washable from sidewalks, playgrounds, and driveways with water, without scrubbing. That gives cleanup a straightforward starting point after a game or art session, but the stated wash-off claim applies to those surfaces, it does not establish how chalk will come off every material or finish.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you need multiple colors for a class, birthday activity, summer camp, or neighborhood game. From the way it is set up, the main advantage is having matching color quantities for group use rather than buying a small set for one person. Picture a recess group using different colors to mark hopscotch squares and add drawings along the driveway, then rinsing the hard surface with water afterward.

Not the best choice if the project depends on fine lines, indoor use, or a surface beyond the hard outdoor areas named in the product details. Cardboard and paper bags are mentioned as drawing surfaces too, but washable cleanup is not promised for those materials.

Included in the package

The listed contents are 126 chalk sticks, packed in a sturdy chalk box, with 14 sticks in each of the nine colors. Paper bags appear as a suggested surface for drawing, not as a confirmed item in the package. That distinction matters if you are organizing an activity and expect the set to provide craft materials beyond the chalk itself.

Questions before you buy

How many sticks are included in each color? There are 14 sticks per color, across nine colors, for 126 sticks total.

Is the chalk washable? The product description says it rinses off sidewalks, playgrounds, and driveways with water and no scrubbing. It does not make the same cleanup claim for paper bags or cardboard.

Can it be used for hopscotch? Yes. Hopscotch is specifically listed as a suggested activity, along with chalk art and driveway drawing.

Buying verdict

Choose this set when the priority is supplying a group with plenty of colors for outdoor drawing and games, and the jumbo size fits the people using it. Its 14-per-color count is useful for sharing evenly, while the box gives the sticks a designated place to be kept. For one child making small, detailed pictures—or for projects that need guaranteed cleanup on surfaces other than the named outdoor hard surfaces—a smaller or more specialized art supply may be a better match.
