Ohniyou Ceiling Fan with Light, 60-inch

A 60-inch ceiling fan with a light is aimed at rooms where moving air across a wider area matters more than keeping the fixture compact. The eight-blade design is intended for larger everyday spaces, including living rooms and bedrooms.

It can also be installed on a covered patio, porch, or deck. That outdoor-use limit matters: the listed installation is for covered spaces, not exposed areas.

If you prioritize flexible lighting and several control options, the app and remote add convenience, if you prefer a simpler setup, the wall switch still turns the fan on and off, but does not offer full-function control.

Getting the most from it

For a living room or covered porch, use the remote or app to select one of the six fan speeds, then adjust the light to suit the activity. A warm setting with dimmed brightness can suit a relaxed evening, while neutral or cool white may be more useful when reading or doing a task. Brightness adjusts from 100% to 10%, and the three color temperatures are 3000K, 4500K, and 6000K.

The wall switch is more limited: it controls power only. When switched back on, the fan restores its previously saved light, speed, and rotation settings. That can be handy if you want to use a familiar wall switch without giving up the settings you chose earlier.

The included 6-inch and 10-inch downrods allow for different ceiling heights, and installation supports a slope up to 15°. Check how those options suit your ceiling before choosing a location. The product is specified for covered outdoor use, so a fully exposed patio is outside its stated fit.

Why it’s worth it

This fan combines air movement and adjustable lighting in one ceiling fixture, which can be useful when you want both functions in a larger room or covered outdoor area. Its DC motor is listed at under 35 dB, and the reversible airflow gives you a downdraft setting for warmer weather or a reverse setting to help circulate warm air in cooler months. The listed airflow is up to 6200 CFM at 122 RPM.

The light uses a replaceable LED module, rather than requiring replacement of the entire fan when that module needs changing. That’s a practical detail for long-term maintenance, although the product information does not give a replacement procedure or module cost. The motor’s noise figure is on the spec sheet, how noticeable it is in your room can also depend on installation and surroundings.

Key features

Eight aerodynamic ABS blades give the fan its distinctive design and support the stated airflow. The app and remote provide full-function control, while the standard on/off wall switch is a basic alternative. Reversible airflow and six speeds offer more adjustment than a fan with only a single direction or a small number of settings.

It’s a great fit if you want a large fan with dimmable, color-selectable lighting for an indoor room or covered patio. It’s not for you if you need a fixture for an uncovered outdoor location, or if your preferred control method must offer full settings through a wall switch alone.

Final verdict

Choose this Ohniyou if the 60-inch size suits your space and you’ll use its lighting controls, reversible airflow, and remote or app operation. In a quick evening setup, you could switch to warm light, dim it, and select a lower fan speed from the seating area. If you only need basic air circulation, or can’t install it in a covered location outdoors, a simpler fan or a fixture rated for your specific setting may make more sense.
