Combuh Motion Sensor Ceiling Light, 2-Pack

Highlights

If you want hands-free light for a dark closet or pantry, this rechargeable ceiling light is designed to solve that small, specific problem. If you need consistent illumination across a larger room, its compact size and stated coverage point to a more supplemental role. The listing includes two lights, each measuring 7.48 inches and rated at 250 lumens, with coverage of 32–43 sq ft per light.

Three modes give you a choice: Night Sensor turns the light on with motion in the dark, Day Sensor responds to motion around the clock, and Always-On can be set with a 15-, 30-, or 60-minute timer. You can also adjust brightness from 10% to 100% and choose warm, neutral, or cool light. It makes sense if you want to avoid hunting for a switch when carrying laundry or reaching into a dim pantry.

How to use it

Mount the light with its magnetic attachment on a metal surface, or use the included adhesive for other suitable surfaces. Screws are included for a more secure installation where adhesive is not appropriate. The cordless setup means no wiring or drilling is required for the magnetic or adhesive options, which can make placement easier in a closet, hallway, or stair area.

Choose a sensor setting for routine pass-through lighting, or use Always-On with a timer when you need steady light for a task. The built-in 6000mAh battery recharges in about five hours. The listing estimates 45–60 days in sensor mode, while Always-On at maximum brightness lasts up to eight hours, actual time depends on how you use it. Keep in mind that the stated coverage is per light, so an unusually shaped area may need different placement, without that measurement, the coverage figure is only a starting point.

Practical tips

For a pantry or closet, position the sensor where someone approaching the space can trigger it, rather than hiding it behind stored items. In a longer hallway or larger area, the listing suggests spacing the lights 4.92 ft apart for more even coverage. A quick walk-through after mounting can help reveal dark patches before you settle on the final position.

One limitation matters for shower use: the product is described as supplemental shower lighting, but no water-resistance rating is provided. Don’t assume it is suitable for direct spray or exposure to wet conditions. Also, battery life in Always-On mode is much shorter than the stated sensor-mode estimate, so frequent, extended use means charging more often.

Questions before you buy

Can it turn on only when the room is dark? Yes. Night Sensor is described as activating with motion in the dark. Day Sensor instead responds to motion 24/7.

Can it stay on while you do a task? Yes. Always-On mode offers 15-, 30-, and 60-minute timer settings, and brightness is adjustable from 10% to 100%.

Does installation require drilling? Not for the magnetic or adhesive mounting options. The listing also includes screws for a more secure installation when needed.

Final verdict

This two-pack is aimed at small, dim spots where automatic, cordless lighting is more useful than a wired fixture—think opening a pantry with full hands or finding the closet light without searching for a switch. The adjustable color and brightness add flexibility, while the rechargeable battery avoids disposable cells. Not the best choice if you need broad room lighting, expect long sessions at maximum brightness, or need a fixture with a stated water-resistance rating. For compact areas where motion sensing and easy placement matter most, its feature set fits the job more closely than a basic manually switched light.
