NOVKIN Lighted Dog Collar

The NOVKIN Lighted Dog Collar combines seven color choices with three lighting modes, giving you a way to make your dog easier to spot on evening walks. Its rechargeable LED design is intended for low-light outings, and the flexible tube can be trimmed to fit your dog.

Choose a steady glow or a flashing mode to suit the route and conditions.

Size & fit

The collar is described as adjustable by cutting its flexible tube, rather than by choosing a listed size. That can be useful if you’re fitting dogs of different sizes, but the product details don’t give finished dimensions. Measure your dog’s neck before trimming, without that measurement, it’s difficult to know how much tube to remove. Cut carefully, since the fit depends on getting this step right.

For a practical example, you could switch on the collar before heading out at dusk and choose a steady color for a neighborhood sidewalk, then use a flashing mode when you want a more noticeable light. The collar is designed to add visibility, not to provide information about fit beyond the cut-to-size approach.

Pros

Seven colors—red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple, and white—offer more choice than a single-color light. Three modes, steady glow, fast flash, and slow flash, let you change how the collar appears without changing the basic setup. USB-C recharging avoids disposable batteries, and the listing says a full charge takes one hour and provides up to 10 hours of continuous light.

The IP67 rating and sealed construction are presented as protection against water, dust, rain, snow, and muddy conditions. That makes the collar more suited to outdoor walks than a light intended only for dry, clear evenings. Still, it’s an LED visibility aid, the listing doesn’t provide measured visibility distance or finished collar dimensions, so those details can’t be compared before choosing.

When it makes sense

You’ll appreciate it if you want a rechargeable light-up collar with several colors and modes for walks in low light, and you’re comfortable measuring and trimming the tube yourself. Compared with a basic reflective collar, this one provides active illumination and lets you select a steady or flashing display. That added lighting is the main reason to choose it.

Better avoided if you need a precisely specified size before ordering, don’t want to trim a collar for fit, or need published details on how far away the light can be seen. Is a choice of colors useful if the fit is uncertain? The listing leaves sizing to the owner, so take that step seriously. For a dog whose neck you can measure and whose evening walks would benefit from a lighted collar, the adjustable cut-to-fit format may suit, for a fixed, clearly dimensioned fit, look for a collar with stated measurements instead.
