Best Pet Supplies Dog Harness, Size S

A dog that squirms when a harness goes over its head can turn the start of a walk into a struggle. This step-in design is meant to make getting ready simpler: your dog steps into the harness, then you secure it with a clip. Its breathable mesh and chest-focused no-pull design are aimed at everyday comfort and a gentler feel when a dog tugs. The trade-off is that fit depends on measuring your dog rather than choosing by breed or weight.

Technical details

The Voyager is an adjustable dog harness made with breathable air mesh. The listed color is Royal Blue, and this version is size S. Its step-in construction fastens with a quick clip, while the no-pull design applies pressure across the chest rather than the neck. Reflective straps made with 3M Scotchlite are intended to help make the dog more visible in low light. The product name identifies it as a leash set, but the available details do not specify the leash’s length or construction.

Those features make it more focused than a basic collar for walks where a dog tends to pull, while avoiding a head-over-harness setup. Still, a chest-focused design is not a substitute for leash training, and the product details do not provide measurements for this size.

Getting the most from it

Fit is the key decision. The instructions call for measuring both your dog’s chest and neck, rather than relying on breed or weight, and mention a printable measuring guide. That matters because an adjustable harness still needs to sit securely without restricting comfortable movement. If you cannot get a reliable measurement, choosing size S based only on the label may be a guess.

It suits you if you want an easier step-in routine, breathable mesh, and reflective details for walks that sometimes happen around dawn or dusk. It might not be a great match if you need a specific fit for an unusually shaped dog or want published dimensions before choosing, those details are not included here. The mesh is described as breathable and suitable for year-round use, but there is no specific information about water resistance or care instructions.

Usage tips

Set the harness flat on the floor, guide your dog’s front paws into the openings, then bring the straps together and fasten the clip. Before heading out, check that it sits comfortably around the chest and neck and that your dog can move naturally. For example, on a short evening walk around the block, the reflective straps may help the harness stand out in low light, while the step-in format can make the doorway routine quicker for a dog that dislikes having gear pulled over its head.

Use the adjustment points to refine the fit rather than treating the quick clip as the only check. If your dog continues to pull, the harness’s chest-pressure approach may change where force is felt, but it does not promise calm leash behavior on its own.

Questions before you buy

Does it go over the dog’s head? No. The described design is step-in: the dog places its paws into the harness, which then fastens with a clip.

Is a leash included? The product name calls it a leash set, though the available details do not say what kind of leash is included or provide its length.

What should you measure for sizing? Measure the chest and neck. The product information advises against selecting by breed or weight alone.

Buying verdict

This harness makes sense for someone who values an easier step-in routine, breathable mesh, and reflective straps more than a fully specified fit chart. Its strongest practical appeal is reducing the fuss of gearing up while shifting pulling pressure away from the neck. The main drawback is the missing size measurements and leash details in the information provided, so careful measuring matters before choosing size S. If you want a head-over style, detailed dimensions up front, or a harness that replaces leash training, this one is a less certain fit.
