NICETOWN NTUSCBR170SD2- RP&BT Blackout Velvet Curtains, 52"W x 84"L, 2 Panels

For a bedroom with early morning sun or a living room facing streetlights, NICETOWN’s velvet curtains add a substantial light-filtering layer and a more finished look at the window. The two black panels are made from heavyweight polyester velvet, with a blackout lining and a soft, subtly lustrous surface.

Each panel measures 52 inches wide by 84 inches long. Rod-pocket and back-tab hanging options make it easy to match the installation to your curtain rod and preferred look.

Practical tips

Use these panels in bedrooms, living rooms, kids’ rooms, kitchens, or other spaces where you want added privacy and control over incoming light. Their dense velvet fabric is a useful alternative to sheers or lighter curtains when you want a fuller window treatment. For a practical setup, choose a rod that fits the 3-inch rod size and hang the panels with the rod-pocket or back-tab top.

The care instructions call for machine washing with mild detergent and no bleach. The fabric is polyester, and quick ironing is listed for care. The black solid color suits a range of interiors, from simple modern rooms to more traditional spaces, while the velvet texture adds visual depth without a patterned print.

What you’ll notice day to day

The lined, heavyweight fabric helps reduce incoming light and offers coverage for private spaces such as a bedroom or home office. The velvet pile brings a plush look to the room, while the solid black finish keeps the design easy to coordinate with other decor. What matters more at your window: a light, barely-there layer or a curtain with more presence and coverage? These panels are designed for the latter, combining decorative texture with light control.

Buyers often highlight the fabric’s rich feel and the curtains’ light-blocking performance. Some describe the color as appearing different as the light or viewing angle changes, a useful detail to keep in mind when choosing velvet for a room. The panels’ substantial feel also contributes to a fuller drape than a lightweight curtain can provide.

Is it worth it?

Choose this set when you want two coordinated velvet panels that bring together privacy, light control, and a soft, substantial finish. The 52-by-84-inch format, blackout lining, and choice of rod-pocket or back-tab hanging make it a practical fit for dressing bedroom and living-room windows with a more polished look.
