YoungsTex Black Linen-Look Curtains, 84-Inch, Light-Filtering, Bronze Grommets

A room that needs softened daylight calls for a different window treatment than one designed to block light completely. YoungsTex black curtains filter incoming light while helping add privacy. Their linen-look texture brings a relaxed, natural finish to living spaces. The two-panel set suits bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, and offices.

How to use it

Hang the panels from a curtain rod using the vintage bronze grommets. Each panel has eight grommets with a 1.6-inch inner diameter, designed to slide along most rods. The smooth-gliding setup makes it practical to draw the curtains open during the day and close them when you want more privacy or less direct light.

Measure the window before choosing a length and width. Each panel measures 52 inches wide when laid flat and 84 inches long. Because the fabric gathers when hung, the usable coverage is narrower than its flat width. For fuller coverage, choose a total flat curtain width that is 1.5 to 2 times the window width. This sizing approach also gives the panels room to drape rather than sit stretched across the window.

Strengths

The black polyester fabric has a faux linen texture that adds visual depth without making the room feel overly formal. Its soft-touch finish and drape complement rustic, farmhouse, and other casual interiors, and the dark color gives the window a defined look against lighter walls or furnishings.

Light-filtering fabric softens incoming daylight and helps reduce glare while keeping the room bright. The thicker, firmer weave also provides more privacy than ordinary sheer drapes, making these panels useful for everyday living areas and bedrooms. They balance filtered light and privacy without presenting themselves as blackout curtains.

The bronze grommets add a vintage accent that works with the textured fabric, while making the panels straightforward to open and close. Use them in a dining room for a softer daytime atmosphere, or in a home office where diffused light can make the window feel less stark. The airy look and linen-like texture also suit shared spaces where you want both a decorative finish and practical light control.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when the goal is to soften daylight, reduce glare, and add privacy while keeping a naturally textured look. The two panels coordinate as a matching window treatment, and the grommets make them easy to move along a compatible rod. Their 84-inch length works for windows where that drop suits the room, checking the window’s measurements and planning for gathered width helps you select coverage that fits your space. YoungsTex curtains are a practical choice for bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and offices that benefit from filtered light and a warm, linen-inspired finish.
