NEEWER B0DMCZJFYS Mini USB-C Lavalier Microphones, 2-Pack, Omnidirectional
Product description
When a recording setup needs hands-free voice capture, a clip-on mic offers a different approach from holding a microphone or relying on a fixed position. The NEEWER Mini USB-C Lavalier Microphone 2-Pack is designed for direct connection to USB-C devices, with two microphones for recording setups that need a pair.
Each omnidirectional condenser mic captures sound from all directions, making it suitable for spoken audio in vlogs, podcasts, video recording, and live streaming. The clip attaches to clothing, while the 2m/6.6ft cable gives you room to position your device as you record.
Connect a mic to a compatible USB-C device to get started. The plug-and-play design requires no additional adapter, battery, or driver, and some smartphones may need OTG enabled in settings.
How it fits
This set suits creators who want a compact, wearable microphone for recording speech while keeping their hands free. Use it for a self-recorded video, a podcast segment, an audition, or a live stream. The omnidirectional pickup is designed to capture voices from around the mic, and the clip helps keep it attached to a collar during recording.
The two-mic pack is useful when a recording setup calls for more than one lavalier mic. Each mic connects through USB Type-C, so the format is intended for compatible phones, tablets, and other USB-C devices. Supported examples include iPhone 16 and 15 models, iPad, Samsung Galaxy S24 and S23 Ultra phones, Google Pixel 7, 8, and 9 Pro, MacBook, and DJI Pocket 3. It is not compatible with GoPro, Insta360 action cameras, or Sony microphone systems.
Why it makes sense
A clip-on setup works well when you need to move naturally or keep your hands available while speaking. Rather than holding a mic throughout a take, attach it to your clothing and connect the cable to your USB-C device. The 2m/6.6ft lead allows some distance between you and the device, which can help when framing a video or setting up a recording space.
The microphones use a metal clip and have a compact design for portable recording. Their USB-C connection avoids the need for an additional adapter on compatible devices, and the corded design means you can connect and record without adding a separate microphone battery. For playback after recording, unplug the microphone if your device needs the port available to play sound.
