MSI VERSA 300 W WHITE Wireless Gaming Mouse, 8,000 DPI, 30M+ Kailh Switches

For a gaming desk that switches between wireless play and a wired connection, the MSI VERSA 300 W WHITE offers three connection modes in a lightweight, symmetrical design. Its optical sensor reaches 8,000 DPI, and the six-button layout keeps the main controls close at hand. The white finish and RGB lighting give it a distinct look without changing its practical focus: flexible connectivity and everyday cursor control.

The sensor's preset sensitivity levels run from 400 to 8,000 DPI, with several steps in between. That gives you a range of cursor speeds to choose from for different games or desktop tasks, though the listing does not specify software controls for customizing those settings. The symmetrical shape is described as supporting palm, claw, and fingertip grips. Its diamond-patterned side grips are intended to help maintain a secure hold during quick movements.

Compatibility

The listed platforms are Mac and PC. For a computer setup, the choice of 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB 2.0 wired connection lets you match the mouse to the available ports and your preferred setup. The details do not confirm support for consoles, so shoppers planning to use it with a console should look for confirmation before choosing it.

Compared with a basic wired mouse, the VERSA 300 W WHITE adds wireless options and a rechargeable battery while retaining the option to connect by cable. A dedicated wired model may make more sense if wireless connectivity is unnecessary, this one is more adaptable when you want to use the same mouse across different computer setups. The stated battery life is up to 50 hours per charge, so actual use between charges will depend on how it is used.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a connection mode that fits the task: 2.4 GHz wireless or Bluetooth for a cable-free desk, and USB 2.0 wired when you prefer a direct connection. Try the available DPI presets to find a cursor speed that feels comfortable for your game or desktop work. The ambidextrous shape can suit users who prefer either hand, and the listed grip styles provide useful starting points when choosing how to hold it. RGB lighting is included, but the available details do not explain its customization options.

It suits you if you want a white, six-button mouse with several connection choices and a symmetrical shape for gaming or general computer use. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed console support, the listed platforms are Mac and PC. For this type of use, its appeal is the combination of wireless flexibility and a wired fallback rather than a single-mode design.

What to clarify

Can it connect without a cable? Yes. The listed modes include MSI SWIFTSPEED 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as USB 2.0 wired.

How long does the battery last? The stated maximum is up to 50 hours per charge. The product information does not provide a separate estimate for each connection mode.

Can you adjust cursor sensitivity? The sensor supports up to 8,000 DPI and has listed presets from 400 through 8,000 DPI. The product details do not describe additional software-based adjustment options.

Final verdict

The VERSA 300 W WHITE is worth considering if you want an ambidextrous gaming mouse that can move between 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired use, with a high-DPI optical sensor and six buttons. Its strongest practical distinction is that mix of connection choices, not a confirmed feature set for every platform or detailed RGB customization. If the listed Mac and PC support and the available DPI presets fit your setup, it offers a clear alternative to choosing a mouse limited to one connection type.
