MOONSOUND Plant Auto Watering Globes-6B, 10-Piece PVC Watering Set

The 10-piece set includes clear PVC watering globes in two sizes, so you can choose a bulb to suit different pots and plants.

Fill a globe with water and insert it into the soil near the plant. It releases water gradually toward the roots, helping provide ongoing care between hands-on waterings.

Need a simple way to support potted plants while you’re away? These globes are designed for indoor and outdoor use, including houseplants, herbs, hanging baskets, and patio pots.

Key specifications

• Set: 10 watering globes, including 6 large and 4 small
• Material: PVC plastic
• Color: Transparent
• Large size: 10.2 inches high, 3.1 inches in diameter
• Small size: 5.1 inches high, 2 inches in diameter

The clear plastic makes the water level easy to see, while the two sizes give you options for different containers. The lightweight bulbs are a practical alternative to relying solely on a regular hand-watering schedule: they supply water directly into the soil near the roots. Their plastic construction is also less fragile than glass globes, making them convenient to handle and move between plants.

Compatibility & requirements

Use the globes with indoor or outdoor plants in pots, hanging baskets, garden beds, and other suitable planting areas. To set one up, fill it with water and insert it into the soil near the plant. Before leaving a plant unattended, water the soil thoroughly and test the globe’s release rate. Moist, good-quality soil supports more controlled watering, very dry or sandy soil can let water pass through more quickly.

The amount of time a globe provides water varies with the plant’s needs, pot size, soil, and surrounding temperature and humidity. Larger plants and pots may need more than one globe, with quantity and placement adjusted to the setup. This makes the set useful for arranging care around individual plants rather than treating every pot as if it needs the same amount of water.

Getting the most from it

Start with a thoroughly watered plant, then place the filled globe near its roots. Observe how quickly the water level changes before relying on it during a trip. If a plant has higher water needs or sits in a larger pot, adjust the number of globes and their position to suit the soil and container. The transparent design helps you check water consumption at a glance, so you can see when a bulb needs attention.

Buyers describe the globes as useful for indoor and outdoor plant care, especially when they are away. Experiences with water release and duration are mixed: some find them helpful for keeping plants watered, while others report that the water drains quickly. Some also find the smaller bulbs harder to fill. Testing the release in your own plant’s soil helps you plan more confidently.

When it makes sense

These globes suit plant owners who want a direct-to-soil watering aid for several pots, including a mix of plant sizes. They are especially relevant when a busy schedule or a vacation makes regular check-ins less convenient, and the assortment lets you choose between larger and smaller bulbs. For everyday care, use them to supplement your routine, for time away, set them up in advance and observe how they work with each plant’s soil and watering needs.
