Wiseflow 25 ft Garden Hose, 3/4-Inch Heavy-Duty Rubber, 5-Layer Braid
Product description
A five-layer braided construction gives the Wiseflow rubber garden hose a reinforced build for everyday watering and cleanup. At 25 ft long with 3/4-inch fittings, it connects to compatible garden hose setups for tasks around the yard. Need a hose for more than watering plants? It’s also designed for car washing and bathing pets.
What to know
The hose is made of rubber and reinforced with braided wire. It has a 300 PSI working pressure and a 1,200 PSI burst pressure, giving you clear pressure ratings for choosing a hose for routine outdoor use. Solid brass 3/4-inch GHT male and female fittings connect at either end, and both connectors rotate 360° to make positioning the hose easier.
Its thicker walls are designed to reduce kinking, and the hose is described as having no kink memory. Customer feedback on kink resistance is mixed: some say it resists kinking, while others report bending or twisting. Buyers also highlight the brass fittings and construction, opinions on the hose’s weight vary. Some customers report using it with hose reels.
Everyday use
This hose is designed for hot and cold water and is described as remaining flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F. It can serve several outdoor jobs, including garden watering, agricultural irrigation, car washing, and pet bathing. That makes it a practical choice when you want one hose for routine yard tasks as well as occasional cleanup.
The rubber construction is designed to resist abrasion, cuts, punctures, and tears. The hose is also described as resisting damage from pets chewing on it. Its flexibility makes it easier to coil and unwind when moving between tasks or putting it away after use.
How to use it
Connect the female fitting to a compatible 3/4-inch GHT connection, then attach the male end to the corresponding hose or accessory connection. Lay out the hose toward the watering or washing area, and use the rotating fittings to help position the connections without twisting the hose at the ends. For a yard-watering session, the 25 ft length gives you a defined reach from the water source, for vehicle or pet washing, it can be routed to the area where you need water.
The 300 PSI working-pressure rating is the figure to use when considering normal operation, the 1,200 PSI burst rating describes a separate pressure threshold, not the working rating. After use, coil the hose for storage. Its flexible construction is designed to make coiling and unwinding straightforward.
