Giraffe Tools SGW-MW20US Retractable Hose Reel, 65 ft, 180° Swivel

Water flower beds across a wide yard without dragging a loose hose behind you. The Giraffe Tools SGW-MW20US mounts to a wall and holds a 1/2-inch, 65 ft hose for everyday outdoor watering.

Set the hose at the length you need with the any-length lock, then give it a gentle tug when you’re ready to retract it. The guided rewind system helps keep the hose neatly stored inside the reel.

A 180° swivel bracket lets the reel turn toward different watering areas, while the included 9-function sprayer nozzle offers options for common garden tasks.

Size & fit

The 65 ft hose gives you reach for watering plants in different parts of the yard, and the lock lets you use only the length needed for a particular task. Its 1/2-inch diameter is stated in the product name. The reel measures 18.1 x 7.43 x 14.32 inches, so you can account for its footprint when choosing a wall location.

This is a wall-mounted setup rather than a portable reel you carry from spot to spot. The bracket swivels horizontally through 180°, helping the hose follow you as you move between areas. For installation, attach the bracket, connect the reel, attach the nozzle, and connect the faucet hose.

Where it shines

For a yard with planters, garden beds, or other watering points spread across the space, the combination of a 65 ft hose and swivel mount makes it easier to direct the hose where it is needed. The length lock is useful when you want to water a nearby area without pulling out the full hose. Afterward, the automatic rewind brings it back into the reel with a gentle tug, keeping storage integrated at the mounting point.

The nine-function sprayer nozzle gives you different spray choices for watering and other routine outdoor jobs. Instead of choosing a simple hose holder that stores a manually managed hose, this reel adds controlled hose extension, automatic retraction, and a swivel bracket in one wall-mounted unit.

Customer feedback often highlights the hose length, ease of use, and usefulness for making watering less of a chore. Experiences with connections and kink resistance are mixed, so careful connection during setup is worthwhile. The product also has an openable top cover, letting you observe the hose as it extends and retracts.

What to clarify

Can you lock the hose at a shorter length? Yes. The any-length lock is designed to secure the hose at a custom extension, so you can pull out what you need for the area you’re watering.

How does the hose retract? Give the extended hose a gentle tug to activate the automatic rewind system. The reel’s guidance system helps wind the hose back inside as it retracts.

Can the reel turn toward different parts of the yard? Yes. Its wall bracket swivels horizontally through 180°, allowing you to direct the hose in different directions from the mounting point.

Should you buy it?

Choose this reel if you want a fixed, wall-mounted watering setup with a 65 ft hose, adjustable extension, and automatic rewind. Its swivel bracket and nine-function nozzle are practical additions for moving between garden areas and handling routine outdoor watering, while the guided storage keeps the hose housed at the wall when the job is done.
