Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a channel for the group, then show children how to press and release the push-to-talk control as they take turns speaking. This straightforward routine works well for backyard games, campsite activities, and indoor hide-and-seek, where kids can coordinate roles or share the next clue without gathering around one device.

The wristband format suits active play: children can keep the radio with them while using both hands for their activity. Adjust the band for a secure, comfortable fit, and keep the walkie-talkies away from water since they are not water resistant. The set requires three AAA batteries, have the batteries ready for play.

Compared with a pair of conventional handheld radios, this watch-style setup keeps each unit worn on the wrist rather than carried separately. That can be useful during games involving movement, when children need to reach for toys, explore, or follow a scavenger-hunt route while staying in contact.

What you get

The set includes two T-Rex-style wrist walkie-talkies, making it ready for two children to communicate and invent shared missions. The dinosaur look gives pretend play a clear theme, while the three-channel setup offers a simple way to coordinate conversations. Use them for playdates, outdoor adventures, or a gift for a child who enjoys dinosaurs and imaginative games.

Buyer feedback describes the walkie-talkies as fun and engaging, with some customers praising the range and others reporting mixed experiences with sound clarity. Comments on durability and reliability are also mixed, so treat them as play radios and handle them with care.

Before you decide

How do children talk through the radios? They use the push-to-talk design: press to speak, then release so the other person can reply. The set has three channels for communication.

Are batteries required? Yes. The walkie-talkies require three AAA batteries. The product information does not specify that batteries are included.

Can children use them around water? They are not water resistant, so keep them dry during play and camping activities.
