Miimall M50286-BLACK PlayStation Portal Travel Case with Hard EVA Shell

Packing a PlayStation Portal for a commute or trip calls for a case that can keep the device separate from loose accessories. The Miimall M50286-BLACK is a travel case made for the PlayStation Portal, with a hard EVA shell and a soft fabric lining.

Inside, a dedicated space holds the console, while a mesh pocket provides room for small accessories such as a charging cable or SD cards. An adjustable shoulder strap gives you another way to carry it when you are out.

This is the case only, the PlayStation Portal is not included. That matters when comparing the listing with a bundle that includes the device or accessories.

Everyday use

For a trip where you want the Portal and a few small items together, the divided interior offers a straightforward setup: the console has its own section, and the mesh pocket keeps accessories from being loose in the main space. The hard EVA exterior and soft lining are intended to help protect against bumps and scratches during transport, though the product information does not specify a protection rating or test results.

The shoulder strap can be adjusted for carrying on the go, and the case can also be carried by hand. Its black finish is understated, so it suits everyday travel without drawing much attention. For someone who only needs to keep the console covered at home, a simpler sleeve may be enough, this case is more relevant when a firmer shell and a place for small accessories are useful.

What stands out

The useful distinction here is the combination of a hard outer shell and a separate mesh storage area. Rather than treating the case as a cover alone, the layout gives cables or other compact items a designated place. That can make packing for a commute easier, especially when the Portal would otherwise be carried alongside loose accessories in a backpack.

Buyer feedback is positive about the available storage, with some customers mentioning room for accessories. Opinions on fit and durability are mixed, however. Those comments are not a substitute for dimensions or a durability test, and they make it sensible to treat fit as a point to assess rather than assume from general feedback. The stated compatibility is for the PlayStation Portal, so this should not be treated as a universal handheld case.

It makes sense if you want a dedicated carrying case with a hard EVA exterior, a lined interior, and space for a few small items. It might not be a great match if you need a case that includes the console, or if you are looking for documented measurements and protection ratings before choosing.

Key points

• Shell: Hard EVA
• Interior: Soft fabric lining

Final verdict

The Miimall case is aimed at Portal owners who want more structure than a basic cover and appreciate having a separate pocket for small accessories. Its hard EVA shell, lined interior, and shoulder strap suit carrying the device between home and travel, while the mesh pocket helps keep compact extras together. If your priority is a confirmed exact fit or proven durability, the mixed buyer feedback means those points deserve more weight in your decision. If you simply need a dedicated case for the PlayStation Portal and a few accessories, the layout is the clearest reason to consider it.
