METAONLY Magnetic Screen Door, Black Polyester Mesh for 36" x 78" Doorways
Product description
The 38 x 81-inch curtain is sized for a 36 x 78-inch doorway, giving you a clear size match to check before installation.
Made from black polyester mesh, this magnetic screen door lets fresh air pass through while helping keep outdoor insects out when the door is open.
The lightweight panel attaches to the door frame with included strips and can be removed and rolled up for off-season storage.
Where it shines
Use the screen on a patio or sliding doorway when you want airflow without leaving the opening fully exposed to insects. The magnetic center seam is designed to part for passage and come together again, so the doorway stays convenient to walk through. Its lightweight construction also makes it accessible for children and small dogs or cats to pass through.
Unlike a permanent framed screen, this panel can be taken down and rolled up when you no longer need it. That makes it a practical approach for seasonal use or for a doorway where a removable screen is useful. Buyers often praise how straightforward it is to hang and its help keeping flies and other insects out. Feedback on fit, magnetic closure, and how well the adhesive holds varies, so matching the listed doorway size and preparing the frame carefully are important parts of setup.
Key takeaways
The curtain measures 38 x 81 inches and is intended for a 36 x 78-inch door opening. Measure the doorway itself, excluding the frame, and select the size that matches your measurements. The polyester mesh is black, and reinforced edges are intended to support regular passage through the panel. Included strips and extra push pins provide the listed attachment materials.
For installation, attach the panel to the door frame with the included peel-and-stick strips. A clean, dry, flat surface with intact paint or coating supports adhesion. Avoid damp, peeling, loose, or freshly painted surfaces, as these can weaken the bond. The panel can be removed and rolled up for storage when the season changes.
Everyday use
This screen works well for an open patio or sliding door during everyday household traffic, when you want to maintain airflow and still have a mesh barrier in the doorway. The center opening lets people and small pets move through without operating a hinged screen door. Its black mesh provides a defined screen across the opening while keeping the panel lightweight.
Buyers also comment positively on the screen’s appearance and ease of installation, while experiences with adhesion and closure are mixed. For a better fit and a reliable setup, start with the specified 36 x 78-inch door size and prepare the frame surface before attaching the strips.
