METAONLY Magnetic Screen Door, 74" x 82" White Polyester Mesh for 72" x 80" Doors
Product description
Quick sizing guide
For a patio or sliding door that measures 72" x 80", this METAONLY magnetic screen has a curtain size of 74" x 82". Measure the door opening itself, not the surrounding frame, and use the fit-door dimensions when choosing the size. The curtain is designed to sit over the outside of the door frame, with extra width and length for installation.
If your priority is fresh air through an open doorway while helping keep mosquitoes and other outdoor irritants out, a magnetic mesh curtain offers a walk-through alternative to leaving the doorway uncovered. The white polyester mesh gives the entry a defined screen, and the center magnets are designed to close after people or small pets pass through.
What you’ll notice day to day
The hands-free opening is useful when carrying items between the house and patio: walk through the center, then let the magnetic closure bring the panels together. Children and small dogs or cats can also pass through without operating a separate latch. When the screen is not needed during the off-season, it can be removed and rolled up for storage.
Installation uses the included adhesive strips on the door frame. For a more reliable attachment, start with a clean, dry, flat surface with intact paint or coating, damp, peeling, loose, or freshly painted surfaces can weaken adhesion. The reinforced edges and heavy-duty polyester mesh are intended for regular passage through a busy doorway.
Buyers often praise the straightforward setup, appearance, and help the screen provides with keeping bugs out. Feedback is more mixed on how firmly the magnets meet and how well the adhesive stays attached, with some also reporting differing experiences with durability. Those comments make careful placement on a suitable frame especially relevant for everyday use.
Compared with a fixed screen that stays in place, this magnetic curtain is a practical choice for a doorway people and pets use frequently. It combines a pass-through opening with a removable design, so the entry can be screened when needed and cleared away for the off-season.
