Mdavo Magnetic Screen Door, Black Polyester Mesh, 34-Magnet Closure

Technical details

The Mdavo Magnetic Screen Door uses black polyester mesh to create a pass-through barrier that lets air circulate while helping keep flies, mosquitoes, and other insects outside. Its center seam is lined with 34 magnets, so the panels can part for passage and draw back together afterward. The opening is designed for frequent trips between indoor and outdoor spaces, including when your hands are occupied.

What it works with

This screen is intended for front doors, sliding doors, and other doorways that fit within the stated maximum size. The product information also identifies balcony, bedroom, kitchen, and children's room doors as possible locations. Measure the door opening before choosing this size, the maximum dimensions refer to the door itself, not the frame.

The mesh offers a practical alternative to leaving a doorway open without a screen when you want airflow through the home. It can help make a busy doorway easier to use than a screen that must be opened and closed by hand: the magnetic center seam separates for passage and closes behind you. Pets can also pass through the opening, making it useful for households where people and animals move between rooms or outdoor areas.

Tips for day-to-day use

Installation uses self-adhesive hook tape applied to the door frame and the top of the screen, without screws, nails, or tools. Position the screen on a clean, suitable frame and align the center seam so the magnetic panels meet when released. Taking a moment to measure the opening and place the screen evenly helps set it up for regular traffic.

The screen is removable, portable, foldable, and washable, so it can be taken down for storage when it is not needed. Buyers commonly describe installation as straightforward and appreciate the hands-free magnetic closure and airflow. Feedback on durability and how reliably the panels stay closed is mixed, so careful placement and everyday handling are relevant to getting the intended use from the screen.

Before you decide

What size doorway does this screen fit? The screen measures 42 x 98 inches and is intended for a door up to 40 x 96 inches. Those maximum dimensions exclude the frame, so measure the door opening itself.

How is it installed? Apply the self-adhesive hook tape to the door frame and attach the screen at the frame and top edge. The listed setup does not require screws, nails, or tools.

Can pets pass through it? Yes. The magnetic center seam parts for people and pets and is designed to come together again after passage.

Buying verdict

For a doorway within the stated size, this Mdavo screen combines polyester mesh, magnetic hands-free access, and a removable, washable design. It suits households looking to keep the doorway open for a breeze while creating a screened passage for everyday movement by people and pets.
