MECOOL MC22LSC-05 Cat Scratcher with Reversible Corrugated Boards and Box

Specifications

Some indoor cats need more than a flat surface for scratching: a place to scratch and settle can make a more useful everyday setup. The MECOOL MC22LSC-05 combines corrugated cardboard boards with a box that can also serve as a lounge bed, giving cats a dedicated indoor spot for play and rest.

Its reversible boards offer scratching surfaces on both sides, while the box keeps the setup together in a compact, floor-mounted format. The green, modern-style design is intended for indoor cats of all life stages and breed sizes.

Usage tips

Place the scratcher on the floor in an area your cat already uses for lounging or scratching. A dedicated cardboard surface gives your cat a place to direct scratching behavior and provides an alternative to household furniture. The box adds a resting spot, so the setup can serve both play and downtime without requiring a separate bed.

Turn the boards over to use their opposite sides as the scratching surfaces wear. This reversible design is useful for households looking for more than a single-sided pad. Compared with choosing one simple flat scratcher, this set combines multiple board shapes with a box-style lounge, that format suits cats who benefit from having a defined spot to scratch and settle. Spot-clean the product as needed.

Customer feedback is positive about scratching performance, pet enjoyment, and keeping debris contained. Buyers also appreciate the reversible surfaces. Reports on durability are mixed: some say the cardboard holds up, while others note that the first layer can shred quickly. Opinions differ on whether it keeps cats away from furniture, and some buyers find the size small for their cats, so the listed dimensions can help you judge how it will fit your home and your cat’s lounging habits.

Included in the package

The set includes five corrugated cardboard boards: two wave boards and three flat boards, along with a box and three pieces of catnip. The listed components also include a screw. The boards provide different scratching shapes, and the box gives the set its lounge-bed function.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want an indoor scratcher that pairs reversible cardboard surfaces with a place for your cat to rest. The combination of wave and flat boards offers more than one scratching shape, while the box brings scratching and lounging into one floor-based setup. It is a practical fit for cat owners who want a dedicated cardboard scratching area that can also function as a lounge bed.
