MAONO PD100W Wireless Dynamic Gaming Microphone with USB-C, RGB and Noise Reduction

A desktop-format dynamic microphone, the MAONO PD100W gives your gaming, streaming, and recording setup a wireless option alongside USB connectivity. Its cardioid pickup pattern is designed to focus on the voice in front of the mic, while one-touch noise reduction offers three levels for adjusting to different room conditions.

Use it for game chat, podcasts, live streams, video calls, or everyday voice input. The desk stand, touch mute, and headphone monitoring keep key controls close at hand, and customizable RGB lets you tailor the look of your setup.

Practical tips

Choose between 2.4GHz wireless and a USB connection to suit your desk or recording routine. For a stream or online meeting, the touch-sensitive mute button provides a quick way to silence the mic, while the 3.5mm headphone jack lets you monitor your voice in real time. The gain and volume knob handles everyday adjustments, with Maono Link available for more detailed EQ, noise reduction, and lighting settings.

The supplied USB-C receiver connects with supported devices, and the package also includes a USB-A and USB-C adapter, charging cable, desk base, and user manual. It works with PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and PS5 and PS4. It is not compatible with Xbox consoles, iPhone use requires a separate PD100W Lightning receiver.

Strengths

The dynamic capsule and cardioid pickup make this a practical choice when voice clarity is the priority, whether you are talking with teammates or recording a podcast at your desk. One-click noise reduction has three adjustable levels—low, medium, and high—so you can select a setting for your surroundings. The included windscreen and pop filter are designed to reduce breath pops and plosives.

For a cleaner desktop, wireless operation reduces the need for a mic cable across the work area, switch to USB when a wired setup suits the session better. The built-in battery is rated for up to 40 hours of use, and the wireless range is stated as up to 50 meters. A battery indicator light and Maono Link battery display help you keep track of charge. RGB can be turned off or customized through the app, while the touch mute also turns off the lighting.

Buyers often praise the sound, noise reduction, and straightforward setup, and mention gaming and podcasting as useful applications. Feedback on wireless connection and battery experience is mixed, with some buyers reporting connection or charging problems.
