Mahjong Card Protective Sleeve, 6 1/8" x 4 3/4

Quick overview

For American mahjong players who use a large-format card, this clear plastic sleeve is meant to help shield it from spills, stains, and everyday wear. The listed size is 6 1/8" x 4 3/4", so fit is the first thing to consider.

Its transparent material lets you view the scorecard while it is covered, rather than hiding it behind an opaque sleeve. The maker describes the plastic as soft and durable, though no care instructions or additional material details are provided.

This is a protective accessory, not a mahjong set. The package does not include tiles, and the sleeve is described for large-size American mahjong cards associated with the 2026 version.

How to use it

Place the card inside the sleeve so the printed scoring information remains visible during play. For example, you can keep the card covered on the table while players refer to it between turns, rather than leaving it exposed to a drink spill or handling marks. Its clear format is useful when you want protection without making the scorecard harder to read.

Ten en cuenta que the stated dimensions are specific: a smaller or differently sized card may not sit properly in this sleeve. Match the card’s measurements to 6 1/8" x 4 3/4" before choosing it, the description also gives a rounded size of 6.12 x 4.75 inches.

Practical tips

If you currently use the scorecard without a cover, this sleeve adds a layer between the card and common table messes while keeping the print visible. It is a more focused purchase than buying a complete mahjong accessory bundle when the only thing you need is card protection. On the other hand, someone looking for a full set or a way to protect tiles themselves will need a different purchase, this listing is for the sleeve alone.

The description does not specify how to clean the plastic, whether it closes, or how it handles repeated removal of the card. Avoid assuming it is waterproof or sealed. According to the maker, the sleeve is designed to help prevent damage from liquids, stains, and wear, but the listing does not describe a closure or a level of spill resistance.

It suits you if you have a large American mahjong scorecard in the listed size and want to keep it readable while adding a protective layer. Not the best choice if your card uses another format, or if you expect the package to include mahjong tiles.

Questions before you buy

Does the sleeve come with mahjong tiles? No. The product description explicitly says the tiles are not included.

Can you read the scorecard through it? The sleeve is described as transparent, with visibility of the mahjong scorecard as a stated purpose.

What card size is it intended for? It is listed for large-size American mahjong cards, with dimensions of 6 1/8" x 4 3/4". Compare those measurements with your card before ordering.

Should you buy it?

Choose this sleeve if your main concern is keeping a correctly sized American mahjong card covered and visible during play. Its appeal is straightforward: a clear plastic layer for a specific large card format, without buying a larger accessory package. Skip it if you need tiles, a complete mahjong set, or protection for a card with different dimensions. The fit and the sleeve-only contents matter more here than broad claims about durability.
